Senior Planner, Transportation
The Monmouth County Planning Board is seeking a Senior Planner to work on a wide array of transportation projects in Monmouth County.
Requirements for the Senior Planner position include:
A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college with 21 hours in professional planning subjects
Two years of experience in municipal, county, regional, or state planning
The following job skills and experience are preferred:
Familiarity with statewide transportation issues, and preferably with Monmouth Countys transportation network, geography, and the issues impacting the transportation infrastructure
Experience in running official meetings, participating in public outreach efforts, and delivering presentations
Fluency with GIS
Knowledge about applying for grants and grant reporting
Ability to attend a minimum of one night meeting per month
