Course Goals - At the end of this course I would like you to be able to:

• Write paragraphs that are clear, accurate and grammatically correct
• Proofread and revise your paragraphs for clarity, consistency, coherence and grammatical correctness
• Achieve a minimum Sentence Sense Score of 165 (Accuplacer score of 88)

Course Requirements:

• Completing a minimum of 12 hours in the English lab
• 10 assigned paragraphs, 5 of these will be in class given with a time restriction
• Classroom attendance. Students are required to attend every class. Occasionally there are conditions beyond a students control. If these count for any more than 1/8th of the course (that is two weeks of a sixteen week course), then the student should contact the instructor before returning to class or withdraw.
