Praying the Rosary

I have found that praying the Rosary is something that I can do while driving. It does not distract me from focus on driving and it allows me to have a "set prayer" that can be spoken easily without too much concentration. I also find that in this way I can stay awake since the meditation upon the mysteries of the Rosary stimulates me and I am wide awake.
The reverse is true as I go to bed. Then the Rosary is effective in putting me to sleep.

Driving and Praying
I do a lot of driving. It can create many emotions. Some of them are not too healthy.
A while back, I decided to listen to christian music on the radio. This was good but it was too often interupted by a sermon or a speech or advice or whatever. I found myself getting too involved emtionally with the speaker so I started using CD recordings of my favorite hymns.
I soon was singing along with the hymns and my mood was lifted. I drove more carefully and found that my daily 100 mile (each way) commute was becoming easier and that I was arriving at work or at home more relaxed.
