Edgewater Park Township Schools service our children with a Certified School Nurse, who is on duty during school hours.  Student wellness, assessment of illness, administering first aid and medications are among the priorities of the School Nurse.  Responsibilities include. 

• Immunization compliance
• Health screenings which include:  height, weight, vision, hearing, scoliosis, blood pressure readings, physical examinations
• Administering medications in school in accordance with school policy
• Acting as health education resource person
• Health record maintenance
