Circle: Set of all points in a plane equidistant from a given point called the center.

Radius>: center to a point on the circle.

Diameter: Point on the circle to another point on the circle through the center. Diameter is 2r(radius).

Central Angle: an angle whose vetex is the center of the circle. It has the same measures as the intercepted arc.

Arc: Part of the circle. You use to are 3 letters to name the arc.

Semicircle: 180 degrees(Half of a circle). You name it by using 3 letters. They must include the endpoints of the diameter.

Example: Semicircle AEB or Arc AEB.

Minor Arc: less than 180 degrees. You use 2 letters to name the arc.

Major Arc: more than 180 degrees. You use 3 letters to name the arc.
