Notice and Updates
3/7/09
Because of the preparation of new masters, new molds, replacing old molds, preparing inventory and preparing for HMGS East's Cold Wars '09 in Lancaster, PA (see www.hmgs.org), I will not be able to process any new orders until March 18th. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
New items at Cold Wars '09 will be a 15mm resin British Hamilcar heavy lift glider (see TMP "News Announcements" www.theminiaturespage.com), 6mm resin C-130 Hercules, a "Check Your 6" style maneuver stand, 15mm resin right and left hand rail road turnouts (switches), 15mm resin hard surface road/rail road crossing, 15mm resin adaptor sections of rail road track for sidings, etc., and a 15mm resin German infantry barracks bunker. If you going to Cold Wars and are interested in purchasing any of these new items (or old items), you may place and order before Wednesday March 11th for pickup at the show.

Please note that the information in "Aircraft In Miniature"/15mm-1/100 scale resin aircraft has been updated. Included are the following new items:

The masters for the 15mm GA Hamilcar British heavy glider are done and the production molds should be completed by the end of January. This model will be introduced at Cold Wars '09 (see www.hmgs.org). We are taking advanced orders for Cold Wars now and for orders via the Internet starting March 16 th. We will have a photo available shortly.
Expect a 15mm Grumman F4F-4/FM-1 Wildcat in the very near future.

Please note that we have added a new product line called "Armored trains In Miniature"/"Our Product Lines" to our line of products. This new line will include a complete line of interlocking rail road track sections that can be used to create any rail road scenario required. Also included are various armored cars on rail wheels and armored self propelled vehicles. More products such as armored trains and standard freight and passenger cars will be added to this line.

Please note that we have added a new product line called "Airborne accessories In Miniature"/"Our Product Lines" to our line of products. At the present time this new line includes parachute supply canisters/bundles and stands with collapsed parachutes so that you have the option of having loose canisters/bundles and collapsed parachute stands as markers or you can assemble the collapsed parachute stands with canisters/bundles for objectives. More products such as the German supply canister and US A-5 bundle will be added to this line.

Please note that the price of the Pegasus Bridge has been increased to $100.00 as of 8/11/08. The price increase is necessary because of a reevaluation of the cost of raw materials and cost of production to make this model. Orders received and paid for at Historicon '08 will not be affected by this cost increase. Any e-mails received before 8/11/08 referring to the purchase of the Pegasus Bridge will be honored at the original introductory cost of $80.00.
Now for the Good News. Below are the new items that will be available at Historicon '08.
15mm Pegasus Bridge and 5cm AT gun and bunker. This will complement the already available Horsa Mk I glider and British supply canisters.
15mm Dutch/Finn Fokker C.X, Italian Breda Ba.65 and maybe a Douglas A-20C/Boston IIIA. If the A-20 is not available at Historicon it will be available shortly after. Advanced orders will be taken at Historicon for the A-20. These will be added to the almost 50 other aircraft produced by AIM LLC
15mm Rail Road Track and accessories. Straight, curved, missing rail, bombed out, dirt road crossing, and end of line track sections are available. Each section consists of rails, sleepers, and road bed. Accessories consist of movable improvised log rail crossing, barricade/improvised end of line and barricade sections. These pieces fit over all of the above track sections. Shortly after Historicon, right and left turnouts will be available (prototypes available for examination at Historicon) along with an adaptor curve to allow for parallel sidings and rail yards.
15mm Rail Vehicles and Vehicles adapted for rail road use. Available at Historicon will be the new Skoda/Tatra T-18 small self propelled armored scout car armed with MGs. This vehicle was produced by the Czechs, sold to the Poles, captured and used by the Germans and Russians and also passed on to the Italians, Romanians, Hungarians, and Bulgarians. The German Faun ZRS (rail version of the ZR) heavy tractor which was used to pull small supply trains into front line areas. These are added to the already released German "Zeppelin" self propelled armored scout car armed with a captured Russian 45mm gun turret, German modified Panhard 178 (with large bed spring antenna), Russian BA.6 and Italian/German AB.41. The Panhard, BA.6 and AB.41 also come with optional road wheels.
15mm Miscellaneous vehicles: Russian used Studebaker with BM-132 Katyusha rocket launcher is now available. Also available is the German Faun ZR heavy wheeled tractor, a two axel SST 50 heavy flat trailer, and the Czech Tatra 152 heavy wheeled tractor also used by the Poles and Hungarians.
15mm Landing Craft: Available are four versions of the Russian landing/assault craft, the Bronekater BK-1125 (early with T-28 turret, mid with T-34 M1942 turret, late with T-34 M1943 and support with BM-132 Katyusha rocket launcher). These models are added to the line of US/British LCP(L), LCVP and LCM-3 landing craft and the Japanese large and small Dai Hatsu landing craft.
15mm Bunkers/Tobruks: Five new bunkers will be added to the extensive line of German Atlantic Wall bunkers. These include an Infantry barracks bunker, an AA bunker, an overhang bunker fitted with a enclosed German Naval Destroyer turret, a large AT Tobruk fitted with either a Panther or Italian P-40 tank turret and the 5cm AT bunker guarding the Pegasus Bridge. These are added to the line of a MG Tobruk, mortar Tobruk, small AT Tobruk with captured French R-35 or FT-17 turret, medium AT Tobruk with PzIVH turret or captured Russian T-34 turret, infantry/LMG pillbox, HMG bunker, roll in field PAK/Artillery bunker, 5cm overhang bunker, 5cm double sided bunker (with attached R-35 Tobruk-encountered at Omaha Beach), Heavy artillery/PAK bunker, Command bunker, "Michael Mannstand" portable bunker (can be transported using the Faun ZR tractor and SST 50 heavy trailer) and a disabled captured Russian T-34 in hull down position in pit.
15mm guns: These guns are mounted on fortress type mounts for use in the bunkers listed above . They include the 5cm Pwk39 gun, captured French 10.5cm gun, 17cm K-18 gun and a German Naval Destroyer enclosed turret.
15mm Barbed Wire Sections: These sections can be constructed in many different patterns. Included are straight, 45 degree angle, 90 degree angle, blown up and crushed/flailed sections.
15mm Parachute Supply Canisters: Available are canisters for the British and Late War allies (also Korea and Vietnam). These consist of loose open and closed canisters, medium FoW stand with collapsed parachute for either an open or closed canister, a large FoW objective stand with two collapsed parachutes for either two open or closed canisters and a small FoW stand with collapsed parachute to be used as a marker.
"Check Your 6" Rule and Scenario Books: AIM LLC now carries "Check Your 6" rules and scenario books.
"Check Your 6" Style Aircraft Stands: Now available are "CY6" style airplane stands that can be used with "Dave's Dogfighters" and any other aircraft produced by AIM LLC or other companies. The stand consists of a base which is a 3 inch hex and it includes "sighting" ribs and a holder for up to three 6d dice. The antenna is attached to the base using a screw which in incorporated in the base. The antenna is a six segmented antenna with a permanently mounted rare earth magnet at its end. Two versions are available, a standard stand which is ideal for 1/144 scale aircraft and small 1/100 scale aircraft and the "heavy weight" version with a double thickness base and six slots to hold up to twelve pennies to add extra weight/stability. This stand is ideal for large 1/144 scale and larger 1/100 scale aircraft.
"Aerodrome 2.0" Accessories: Available from AIM LLC are several accessories such as game mats and 2-1/2 inch clear aircraft stands. The complete line of rules should be available soon.
"Dave's Dogfighters": These are "slick" versions of several of AIM LLC standard fighters for use in air war games. These models do not have parts that will break off such as antennas, ordinance, etc. The models have a molded in attachment piece (can be removed if desired) for direct attachment to the "CY6" style stands and the magnetic Terrain Clearing Stands.
