"Check Your 6"

"Check Your 6" is an air war game created by Scott Fisher and published by Skirmish Campaigns. It is easy to learn and is fast paced and fun. Listed below are lists of "Check Your 6" rules and scenarios, "CY6 Style" flight stands designed and produced by Armaments In Miniature LLC to be used to play "Check Your 6" and other air war games, "SkyHex" and "LandHex" game mats designed by Jim Longstreth of Swan Island Replications that can be used with "Check Your 6" and other air war games, and aircraft models, both produced by Armaments In Miniature LLC and other commercial manufacturers.

"CY6 Style" Aircraft Flight Stands

These stands were designed and are produced by Armaments In Miniature LLC for use with "Check Your 6" and other air war games using hex based flight stands. These stands have a hexagon shaped base, raised sighting lines, raised grid for holding 6d dice, reinforced collar to hold a six segmented antenna which is tipped with a permanently mounted rare earth magnet and extends approximately 23 inches (58cm) high. We recommend using the accompanying metal screws (which are added to the airplane) to mount the aircraft to the stand.

Game Mats

These game mats may be used with "Check Your 6" or other air war games that require a hexagon grid. These mats are made of a textured vinyl which gives the mats a sense of "depth" and display either a skyscape or a landscape image printed on them. These mats may be washed without harm to the design. Mats of the same design will mate to each other on all sides. These mats were prepared by the very capable artist and sculptor, James Longstreth of Swan Island Replications.

"Dave's Dogfighters"

Dave's "Dogfighters" are the same base models as the models listed under 15mm (1/100) scale aircraft but are one piece (in most cases) castings with no additional parts (antenna, tail wheels, bombs, rockets, drop tanks, etc) to add (or break off). These models also have a molded-in ferrous metal attachment point (may be removed if desired) for magnetic tipped stands such as our "CY6 Style" stands listed above.
