*New York City Police Officer Arthur Marquez was registered to ride in the 2001 Tinbuttu Rally, but was unable to since he was needed in the aftermath of the 9/11 bombings. In early 2002 he was was wounded by gunshot fire received in the line of duty. In recognition of his efforts to keep all of us safe, the Rally awarded him a special Public Service Award. We were honored to have him ride in the Rally in 2002.
