Week of November 2- 6 Letters Bb and color brown. Our Theme is BREAD & BUTTER.
Wednesday, November 4 - Brown Day. Wear brown to school. Bring in 2 brown pictures cut from magazines for our collage.
Thursday, November 5 and Friday, November 6 - NO SCHOOL. Teacher Convention Days
Week of November 9-13 - Our theme is BOXES & BALLS. The color for this week if purple.
Thursday, November,12 - Bring in 2 pictures of something purple for our collage.
Friday, November, 13 - Purple Day. Wear purple to school.
Week of November, 16-20 - Sensational Senses is our theme this week. The color is pink.
Thursday, November 19 - Bring in 2 pictures of something pink for us to collage.
Friday, November 20 - Wear something pink if you wish.
Week of November, 23-27 - Our theme will be Many Thanks.
PARENT CONFERENCES ARE MONDAY afternoon & TUESDAY evening. ***There is a half day schedule and dismissal at 12:00 noon on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday of this week.
FRIENDLY REMINDERS
Remember to send in photos of individuals who will be picking up your child. We will keep them on file and return them in June. Thank you.
Please tell your child who is picking them up from school each day so when asked they are able to tell us.
Also, please remember to send in a note to let us know if someone other than yourself (or usual person) is picking up your child. ALL children should be picked up on time.
Please label your child's snack each day(as SNACK)so we can differentiate between their snack and lunch. My suggestion would be to keep snack and lunch separate in their backpack.
Please keep snacks small and healthy ie.2 crackers, or small fruit. Snack time is only a few minutes and young children believe they must eat all their Mom sends.
PLEASE REMEMBER: NUTS,PEANUTS, CANDY AND POPCORN ARE NOT ALLOWED (for safety reasons).
Lunch bags should be labeled with your child's name.
If you feel it is necessary you may send an extra set of clothes in a plastic bag with your child's name on for a "JUST IN CASE TIME". We will return the clothing in June.
Remember not to send umbrellas into the classrooms on rainy days. We will all be much safer if you take them home and then bring them back to your child at dismissal time.
When your child is absent, you are required to send in an absence note upon their return.
Homework - ALL CHILDREN ARE EXPECTED TO DO HOMEWORK IF ASSIGNED.
All outdoor clothing and personal items must be labeled with child's name.
Remember to please have children use bathroom facilities at home before coming to school. This prevents our circle time from being interrupted by frequent requests.
All children should be able to manage themselves while toileting. Please make sure your child's clothing is easily zipped or snapped. Children should know how to wash hands with soap and water.
We will be going outside on the playground everyday weather permitting. Please make sure your child is dressed for the day's weather. Sneakers should be worn especially for climbing on our playground equipment.
When purchasing a backpack, please make sure it is large enough to hold a folder, towel, lunch, snack, drinks, and artwork. For safety reasons, backpacks with wheels and luggage type handle are not permitted.
Please check your child's backpack and folder daily for important notices and school news.
There is no need to purchase crayons, glue, or pencils since they are supplied by the district.
We are always looking for tissues, paper towels, and Chlorox or Lysol wipes. If you would like to send some in periodically, we would greatly appreciate it!
