This is an S.O.S. distress call from the mining ship Red Dwarf.
The crew are dead, killed by a radiation leak.
The only survivors are Dave Lister, who was in suspended animation during the disaster,
and his pregnant cat, who was safely sealed in the hold.
Revived three million years later, Lister's only companions are a life-form who
evolved from his cat, and Arnold Rimmer, a hologram simulation of one of the dead crew. Message end."

"Hello mi Laddo's my name is Rimmster. I will be your guide tonight. Smeg! I guess I should explain who I am! I met up with Lister and the gang after they escaped at the end of season 8 into a parallel dimension. I had just emerged from stasis and was pretty depressed to find my cat race had all left and the charge relays were damaged so, I had no access to even a hologram for company. Not that I would have anyone to bring back. I was an anti social chicken soup machine repair person secretly dreaming of becoming a captain. Things were bleak and holly was growing worried. How would he keep me sane? Then my so called sanity arrived, a parallel Rd Crew. Lister, Rimmer, Kochanski, Kryten and another version of Holly. I emerged from the lieu and really shocked those laddies! (Rimmer and Lister especially) Rimmer noticed the bog roll was half missing and proclaimed it indicated that aliens were close by. Well, actually it was just me. (I had way to much curry the night before) It didn't take long to put 2 and 1 together, or something. You see in my dimesion they are 1 and not two and that 1 is me! I am Dani Rimmster Space Adventurer a curry eating, insecure, Reggie Wilson fan who is a bit unstable and hobbies include collecting pictures of 18th century telegraph poles and playing the guitar (like a goddess!)Oh and that's right! I am also a women! But don't let that fool you. I can drink lager with the best of them and can definantly give Lister a run for his money. So, here I give you the Red Dwarf fan dedication Pages. If you didn't already know...Red Dwarf is a British sci fi comedy series created by Doug Naylor and Rob Grant. The Show first aired on the BBC in 1988 and is still going strong. Their have been eight seasons made to date (Those series usually consist of six episodes each, but the later seasons have 8.)And their is a movie in the works scheduled for release in 2002.
In the United States, Red Dwarf is aired on PBS stations and on BBC America which is available on some cable systems and sattelite providers.
