The Grist Mill
For this report, I went to the Grist Mill, a small restaurant located near the waterfall which Tinton Falls is named after. After almost no waiting, a waiter showed my family and I to a table with an excellent view of the waterfall nearby. The food was excellent, delicious, fresh and very filling. I highly suggest that visitors try the steak and mashed potatoes if they want a very delicious meal. But one should remember that portions are very big. Bon appetit!
Another interesting fact is that the Grist Mill is in fact, an old mill which was used in the 19th century near the bog-iron rich falls below. In a corner of the restaurant, there is a list with all the citizens of Tinton Falls when the town was just starting out. The architecture is also of a very antiquated type.

Charlie Brown's
I have never been to Charlie Brown's so I went there to try it out along with my family. I did not find the food to be varied enough to suit my tastes, but what I did order was pretty good.

Escondido's
Located near Boscov's in Monmouth Mall, Escondido's is a Tex-Mex restaurant which serves large portions and great smoothies.The scenery is quite southwestern. Escondido's has vegetarian, beef, seafood, chicken and combinations. Although Escondido's has a lot of variety, the food tends to leave something to be desired.

Old Country Buffet
Another restaurant in Monmouth Mall is the Old Country Buffet, which serves all-American foods. This buffet offers a variety of food from salads to soups to meat to seafood, and has something that everyone likes. The dessert section is huge and full of all sorts of cakes, puddings, and ice cream. There is a wide variety of people who eat at this place. The only aspect of this restaurant which I dislike is the service, an the fact that it is a self serve buffet. I have seen times when food would be dumped in soups and things such as salad dressing being spilled on shrimp.

Americana Diner
The Americana Diner offers much American food. The variety is not very extensive, but the servics is excellent, and the scenery is pretty appealing. This diner truly can bring a sense of nostalgia, because not only does it have decor from the 50's, but it also has memorabilia from sports. The food comes in large portions and is overall pretty good.

Applebee's
Who hasn't been to Applebee's? It offers the standard Tex-Mex, steak, and barbecues, along with the normal desserts found in Applebee's restaurants. The scenery is pretty nice, although a lot of the clientele smoke, which can irritate some people. The food is overall delicious, and the dishes are very large, so if you have a small hunger, order off of the appetizer menu.

Cajun Cafe and Grill
The Cajun cafe in Monmouth Mall serves a small variety of Cajun food, but the food is very good considering that it is basically fast food. They sometimes hand out free samples to customers. It is pricey, and the amount you get on a plate is medium sized.

Monmouth Mall
In Eatontown, the main attraction is Monmouth Mall, which has most of the more popular stores to shop at, as well as a movie theater, and several restaurants and fast food stops at the food court.
Monmouth Park
On the border between Eatontown and Oceanport lies Monmouth Park. Monmouth Park hosts horse races which draw many spectators not only for the gambling aspect, but also to look at and pet the horses.

This hotel is designed by and targeted towards businesspeople who need a place to rest. It is somewhat ornate inside and has good service.
