Dear Lord
For the first time in my life, I say; Dad with
a tear upon my face. For even if one moment
in time, I may be allowed to Dream of the
Dad, I never knew.
I Love to know the sound of his voice, I love
to know his embrace.. For, I think some how
he may have like to, know me as well.
I don't know If, I could ever say the word Daddy, Because,
I never got the chance...
But If, I may be allowed to Dream just this
once.. I Love to see my Daddy's face while
sitting upon his lap...
I like to think he would smile down at me,
and call me his own...
I never got to say the word Daddy, for he left
long before, I was born.. But If, I may Dream,
just this once.. I like to think, Daddy was there
some where hiding in the shadows, And Being
Proud, I was born.
May, I Dream of Summer Mornings, where
Dad would say.... Hello Sunshine! shall we go to The
Beach, maybe have a picnic today...
Oh! Dear Lord, let me close my eyes, and see
The Daddy, I never knew... And feel his Love, like
only little girls should!
Let me Keep one Prayer! That my Daddy Love me,
more then life it's self...
But if, I may have this one Dream Lord... Can you
tell my Dad, I forgive him now And all, I want is for
him to be Happy, and not worry about me..
I am just Fine! Because, I have you Lord! The Father,
Who Taught me how to go on! How to Live! and how
to Love!
May, I dream just this once, and see my Dad in
my Dreams.. And one more Favor God, May
I call him Daddy? and Kiss his face.
And have him call me Daughter, while we Embrace...
