Power of Friendship
Chapter 1: Trunks and Goten’s First Day of A New High School!
At Trunks’ house (Capsule Corp), it was 6:00 o’clock it the morning. Bulma woke up on that beautiful day and started to groan and muttered with a sad face. Then she realized that today wasn’t just another day of working, listening to Vegeta complain, dealing with the kids all day long...
All of a sudden she smiled happily. Today was one of the best days of the year for her and Chichi. Next to the holidays, vacation, and their birthdays, of course. For today was another day that Trunks had to go to school!
“Yahoo, yes!” she said loudly, waking Vegeta up in her excitement.
“Leave me alone, I’m sleeping, woman,” said Vegeta mumbling.
“Do you know today is?” Bulma asked her husband.
“I don’t give a flying fuck, woman, now leave me alone!” Vegeta yelled at her.
“Come on Vegeta Guess! And stop acting like a jackass! Now GUESS!” she answered back cheerfully.
Vegeta thought to himself for a moment. Now do I really have to listen to her? I guess so or she will never shut up!
“Is it a holiday?” he asked not caring.
“Nope, guess again.”
“IF IT ISN’T A HOLIDAY THEN WHAT THE HELL IS IT, WOMAN?” he demanded.
“It is…” she started to say happily.
She stops for a few minutes. But, before she could start up again on what she was about to say, Vegeta cut her off.
“Well, GOD DAMNIT WHAT THE HELL IS TODAY!” Vegeta yelled.
“IT IS THE DAY THAT TRUNKS STARTS OFF IN A NEW SCHOOL!” she yelled back.
“So what’s the big deal?” he asked smirking.
“The big deal is that Trunks will not be here all day fighting with Bra over that damn TV! Trunks won’t be here breaking things, no more full days with Trunks, no more waking up in the middle of the night because they're too damn loud, no more going hungry because he got to the fridge first. It is like heaven to me!” she told him, looking shocked.
Vegeta just give her a weird look.
“It makes no difference woman, because that baka kid of Kakarrot comes over all the damn time. Even worse then that, Trunks will be bringing home one of his damn baka friends that act like assholes all the damn time! School or No school. They still come over here,” the tired prince said to his wife.
“Vegeta! Don't start, be nice to them! Especially Goten. He's a nice boy. Please don't ask to spar with him again before school like you did last time; you messed up his new clothes, what a mess that was!”
“What pain in the asses! Then I have to deal with Kakarott! You know he comes over he only to get away from Chichi.”
So he got up and went to go get dressed, Bulma got dressed as well. Bulma then went to her son’s room to wake him up for his first day in a new high school.
“Time to go wake up Trunks,” she says as she walks into Trunks’ room.
Trunks was still sound asleep. Bulma just looked at him all cuddled up in his sheets. But he had to get up.
“TRUNKS TIME TO WAKE UP! YOU DON’T WHAT TO BE LATE FOR YOU FIRST DAY OF A NEW HIGH SCHOOL!”
Trunks opens one eye and closes it again, rolling over to his side.
“Yes I do!” he told his mother.
Bulma looked at him in shock. She got mad at him, so she said it even louder then before.
“TRUNKS GET YOUR ASS OUT OF YOUR BED NOW!”
No reply from him; Bulma was getting madder.
“GET UP NOW!”
“But Mom!”
“DON’T ‘BUT MOM’ ME!”
“But Mom 5 more minutes please?” Trunks mumbled as he rolled over and pulled his sheets over his head. Bulma walks over to her son’s bed and pulls the covers off him.
“TRUNKS if you don’t get you ass out of bed now, I will get your father in here!”
At that Trunks’ eyes shot open. He jumped to his feet and ran to the shower almost knocking Bulma over. He needed to be as clean as he could get for his first appearance in his new school. After all he did want to make a good impression on all those girls that were going to be there. Bulma just smiled at him, knowing that she won that argument.
Meanwhile at the Son house…
“Goten! GET UP NOW!” Chichi yelled to her youngest child from her room down the hallway.
"Aw, go easy on him Chichi," Goku said, pulling his shirt over his head.
"You stay out of this Goku!"
It was a very early and average morning at the Son house. School or no school.
“I’LL GET UP! I’LL GET UP! JUST STOP HURTING MY EARS WITH YOUR SCREAMING!” a very tired Goten said.
Gohan, still living with his parents because Chichi wouldn’t let him live on his on without Videl, was in bed trying to go back to sleep because he thought it was too early. With that Chichi went downstairs to make breakfast for her children, husband and granddaughter, even though Gohan was still in bed.
All of a sudden, in Gohan’s room, the alarm clock went off.
BEEEEEEEP BEEEEEEEEEEEEP BEEEEEEEEP!
“SHUT UP YOU STUPID ALARM CLOCK!” Gohan yelled as he throw it into the hallway where Goku was about to step.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHH!” Goku yelled as he fell down the stairs, after tripping on the alarm clock.
THUMP, THUMP, THUMP, THUMP…BAAAAAAAAAAAM!
Chichi stopped in her tracks, turned around and went to the stairs.
“OH MY GOD GOKU! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!” Chichi asked.
“I just fell down the stairs because of Gohan’s stupid alarm clock,” Goku told her, getting up. Goku had his huge goofy smile on his face and one hand behind his head, in the Goku fashion.
“Okay whatever dear,” Chichi said; nothing was going to ruin her day today.
“Oh yeah, GOTEN AREN’T YOU WALKING TO SCHOOL WITH TRUNKS?” Chichi yelled up the stairs.
“YES MOM,” Goten yelled back, getting out of his bed.
“OK! GO CALL HIM TO TELL HIM THAT YOU’LL BE ON YOUR WAY!”
“OK MOM.”
Pan, who was up and in the kitchen, helped her grandmother make breakfast. She was in a happy mood for she was going to go to the same school as her uncle.
Trunks dragged himself downstairs. It was now 7:00 AM. Trunks walked to the kitchen. Plopping down at the table, he was surprised to see his breakfast. He looked down and on his plate and there was 6 eggs and 28 bacon strips. He also had 2 large bowls of oatmeal, and a huge cup of orange juice. His favorite! It was a heart attack to see it all. He went to reach for his orange juice, but he knocked it over, spilling it all down the front of him.
“All shit,” he cursed, cleaning up the mess.
Then a little voice came behind him. It was his little sister Bra who was thirteen.
“Ooh, you said a bad word. I’m tell Mommy on you!” said the little tattletale.
“Oh no! If mom finds out! She is going to have a cow! If she knew that I said it front of Bra. What am I to do,” he thought to himself.
“I got it!” he said, getting an idea.
Then he turned around and grinned menacingly at his little sister.
“Oh no…I know that look.”
Trunks walked towards Bra and moved one finger up and down to tell to come here.
“Come here Bra, my loving, adorable sister!” he said smiling widely.
Bra shook her head frantically back and forth and tried to spot an escape route. But Trunks blocked the only way out of the room. She knew that she wouldn’t get away. He was to fast for her.
“NNNNOOOO! NNNOOOOO! GO AWAY!” she said waving her hands back and forth.
But he kept on walking to her. He then grabbed her around her waist. She was yelling as he walked to a chair and sits her down.
“Please I’ll be good just don’t blast me!” she said with a shakingness to her voice.
“I’m not going to hurt you but…”
Bra cut him off before he could say another word.
“If you not going to hurt then… what are you go to do me!” she asked in scared voice.
“You’ll see,” he said.
He then picks her up with on hand, walks to and opens the freezer door and throws her in there. Bra starts screaming throughout the whole traumatic experience.
“See I told you I wasn’t going to really hurt you,” he said.
He then locks the freezer’s door as his mother and father walk in. Trunks looks at his mother.
"Alright Mom, what do I have to do? And when I’m doing it?" Trunks asked, sounding a little annoyed.
Bulma looked at him. She was smiling.
“I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm just being a good mother, making breakfast for her son. Is that bad?"
He frowns.
"'Mom, I'm not taking a bite until I know what you're bribing me to do. The last time you made a breakfast like this was the time I had to protect Bra at school and take that stupid parenting class.”
Bulma glared at him.
“That class was not stupid, it helped you!”
“Mom that was TO stupid,” Trunks practically yelled back.
Vegeta looked up from his own breakfast and snorted.
"What stupid class are you to talking about?”
“Last year I signed him up for Essential Life Skill,” Bulma said as she sat down at the table next to Vegeta.
“It was the worse thing you did to me. It was so embarrassing and boring.”
“What is Essential Life Skill anyway?” Vegeta asked.
Bulma and Trunks looked surprised that he didn’t know what it was.
“Thank God he doesn’t know,” Trunks thought to himself.
Bulma broke the silence.
“Vegeta you don’t know what is Essential Life Skill is!?” Bulma asked.
“No, now are you going to tell me what it is or what?” he said in a loud tone.
“Well, Essential Life Skill is a year long introductory course. Students have the opportunity to explore the areas of food, nutrition, kitchen safety, meal preparation, and children. They also learn about fashion, textiles, clothing care/construction, basic interior design and crafts through a variety of “hands-on” projects,” she told him.
“What the HELL did you just say woman? And this time tell me in Japanese!”
“Dad let me put it in Japanese for you. She means it’s all about parenting.”
Vegeta looks at Trunks.
“You mean to tell me that there is a class for that? I could have learned how to raise you?” he asked.
“You mean, you don’t know how to raise me? Then why in the world do I listen to you?” Trunks asked, sitting down to eat his breakfast.
“Because I’m your father; you are suppose to respect and obey me!”
At Goten’s house……
Goten stumbled to the breakfast table with his uniform shirt unbuttoned, socks mismatched, and his hair uncombed (like someone could actually tell). He yawned hugely and rubbed his eyes.
Goku, Chichi and now awake Gohan were shocked at the way Goten looked.
“What happened to yo? Did get into a fight before coming down for breakfast?” his mother asked.
“No. I just got out of bed and throw my uniform on,” Goten answered, sitting down to eat.
“Goten you go get dressed properly now before you eat your breakfast!” Chichi yelled.
“But mom, I’m hungry.”
"Aw, go easy on him, Chichi,” Goku said again, this time taking a bite of his breakfast.
“Goku shut-up and Goten, go now and get dressed!” Chichi said.
“Fine, fine, just don't yell. I do have overly sensitive hearing, you know…I’ll get dressed!” he said whining.
Goten grumbled as he massaged his hurt ears. He walked up stairs to get a shower and got into a clean uniform. He took his shower in a record time then raced to his room to get changed for school. But, he had trouble picking out an outfit.
“Hmmm, now, what should I wear to impress those hotties that are going to be there? I got it!”
He gets dressed and then runs downstairs to eat his breakfast. When he gets to the table he realizes that his plate is missing. He also sees a big grin on Gohan’s face.
“Man, I knew I should have taken my food with me. I should of known better,” Goten says, about to get out another plate.
Gohan laughs and hands Goten his plate.
“I was only joking with you. Like I would eat your food. I am not that mean,” Gohan said.
Back at C.C.
Everyone was at the table eating breakfast, well that is everyone but Bra.
“Trunks, have you seen your little sister?” Bulma asked.
“No I haven’t, she must still be sleeping,” he lied.
“Oh I must have forgotten to wake her up.”
She heads up to Bra’s room. Vegeta hears a light banging sound coming from the freezer and then realizes that the freezer door is locked, which it usually isn’t. Trunks looks at the freezer door and then at his father’s facial expression.
“Umm, I’m going to be late for school. Got to go. Bye Dad, tell Mom I said good-bye.”
Trunks runs out of the house and heads towards Goten’s home.
Goten’s House
Goten is just about to finish his meal when he hears a lot of doorbell rings. He answers it.
“Trunks? I was just eating my breakfast. Won’t anyone let me eat one meal completely before I have to do anything else! I thought that I was suppose to be coming to your house?”
“Um, yeah, well. Um. I thought that I would let you have some more time getting ready?”
Then they both hear a loud scream coming from the Brief’s house and it seems to be Vegeta’s voice.
“Let’s get going; we don’t want to be late,” Trunks said in a worried voice.
Trunks grabs Goten by the arm and drags him out the door as he runs out towards the school.
“But I didn’t finish my breakfast. Oh well.” Goten thought to himself.
“Bye Mom, Dad, Gohan, Pan!” Goten yelled while being pulled out of the house. He turns to Trunks, “Can we stop for some breakfast, cause I wasn’t done mine.”
“Maybe if your good. Hehehe,” he laughed with worry in his voice.
Chapter 2: Old Friends Meet Again?
“Why in the world are you so eager to get to school? We will be like 30 mintues early. It isn’t like you and I am HUNGRY!” Goten practically yelled in his ear.
Trunks was flying as fast as he could.
“Well you see, um I kind of did something bad. And it isn’t one of my normal ‘break something’ bads,” Trunks told his friend.
“What did you do this time? Almost burn the house down again?”
“No. Um, well, you see, I cursed in front of Bra and she was going to tell my mom, you see, and you know how my mom gets when I curse in front of Bra, so….”
He was cut off by his friend.
“SO! What the HELL is that supposed to mean?!?!”
“So … I stuck her in the freezer and locked it.”
“WHAT! Why the freezer!? She isn’t THAT bad!”
“I didn’t mean to do it. It just sort of happened. I don’t know how.”
“I know how. You picked her up, opened the door, and threw her in there, and locked it. That’s how ya did it.”
Vegeta was now screaming his head off and gaining up on Trunks, who was still holding on to his friend’s arm.
“SHIT!” Trunks yelled after hearing and seeing his father.
Goten was now in front of Trunks, and didn’t see Vegeta coming this way.
“Trunks, you know that word got you in a lot of trouble and now you used it again! What do you say for your self?”
“Goten look behind you!”
“What are you pointing at Trunks?”
“Gggg…ooo….ten….look behind you!”
“Trunks, why are you talking like that? Why do you want me to turn around?”
“Just look!”
“I don’t see the point of me turning arou…” Goten cut himself off when he saw Vegeta, “It’s your dad! Fly, fly as fast as you can! He’s gaining on us! Go, go, go!”
“I am going as fast as I can.”
“Well go FASTER!”
All of a sudden, they reach the block before school and fly into two girls that were on the ground walking to school. Trunks flew into one girl knocking her down, while Goten does the same to the other girl.
Vegeta stopped where he was and turned around and went home thinking to himself that he would get them later. That and because Bulma was screaming for him to drive her to the doctor’s to get Bra checked out for any other sicknesses that she might of gotten.
“Get the HELL off of me you jerk! YOU SHOULD LEARN TO FLY!” said the girl Goten flew into.
“Gomen nansi. I didn’t mean it, really,” said Goten has he put his hand out to help her up. She slaps his hand away and gets up herself.
“I was just trying to help you up,” Goten said nicely.
“I don’t need any help from a pathetic weakly like you!” the girl said.
While this conversation between the girl and Goten was going on, Trunks and the other girl are looking at each other trying to figure out where they have meet before.
“I am not a…” Goten started.
“Trunks! Is that you?” the black with purple highlighted-haired girl asked.
The girl and Trunks then hug each other They have just found each other from long ago.
“Celes! You look great!” Trunks said.
“You mean you know each other!? And you didn’t tell ME! You tell me everything!” Goten said to Trunks, brushing off his school uniform.
“Yes, Trunks it’s me.”
“You know, your dad hasn’t been the same since you ran away from home 13 years ago. You know that, right?”
“Ya I know. How is Dad anyway? I miss him a lot,” Celes asked Trunks.
Goten cut into the conversation between them.
“Wait, just who is your dad?” Goten asked, curious.
“Gohan Son,” Celes answered.
“My brother has TWO daughters! And no one told me! Wait…that means that you are my niece and that you have to listen to me,” Goten said in shock.
“No, I don’t HAVE to listen to you,” she said to Goten. “Well, Trunks, how is he?”
Goten and Jada were both standing and looking back and forth as Trunks and Celes talked for a while.
“He hasn’t talked about you at all. Whenever someone talks about Videl or you, he gets teary-eyed and walks away. He hates to bring it up. It makes him sad. He still doesn’t know why you ran away. Why did you?”
“Well, when Mom died, I just thought that Sephiroth would come and kill me too. So I just ran as far as I could. Well after I went super saiyan and tried to attack him. That didn’t work too well considering I was three.”
“THREE! I was six when I first turned super saiyan! No fair! I was the youngest super saiyan ever and now my niece has beaten me,” Goten whined.
“Did you say Sephiroth?!” Jada asked Celes, not hearing this story before.
“Yeah. He killed my mom,” Celes said, completely ignoring Goten.
“He killed my mom too! Actually he kill my family, friends, and destroyed my hometown,” Jada said.
“Can we talk about this later, Jada?” Celes said to her friend. She turned to Trunks, “You haven’t changed Trunks, have you?. Well, maybe your looks. Oh yeah, and Goten sorry for Jada being so rude. She is always like that. Well, Trunks, Goten, we have to go to school. Why don’t you two come over to my place after school tomorrow? Trunks, think you can take me to see my dad tomorrow?”
“We’ll see. C-ya later,” Trunks teased.
Trunks and Goten look at each other with an idea in their head about the coming to her place, and then look back at Celes.
“So it’s settled, meet us right here after school tomorrow and we’ll walk to my house. Ta ta for now, boys,” Celes said.
She then giggles and walks off dragging the still confused Jada behind her.
“Bye weaklings?” Jada said.
“Shut up Jada. They are not weaklings. And I happened to like Trunks. And you and I both know how strong he.”
“I was talking about Goten. He is such a weakling and a major asshole.”
“Yeah, yeah, sure, sure, whatever.”
“Now THAT was very strange, I haven’t seen that girl in such a long time. Boy did she grow up!” Trunks says. “This is going to be FUN!! Now come on we don’t want to be late for school.”
“But I’m hungry,” Goten whined.
“Is that all you ever think about?”
“Think about what?” Goten asked confused.
“Food, you dumb ass.”
Before Goten could even answer, Trunks grabs him by the arm and drags him into the school.
Meanwhile back at the Son residence, Gohan is yelling at his mom about why he and Pan can’t move out.
“I don’t want you to move out because if you left Goten would very sad,” Chichi said.
“Yeah right, mom, you know for a fact that if Pan and I did move out, no later then 2 seconds after I step out of the house, all of Goten’s shit would be in my old room,” Gohan argued back.
“How dare you say such a thing. Goten would never do a thing like that. He is a good boy.”
“Goten, good, and boy all in the same sentence! Ha ha!” Gohan thought.
“I don’t have time for this nonsense,” Chichi says.
“Nonsense? This is not nonsense. How many 30-year-old, single fathers do you know that are forced to live at home because there over protective mother won’t let them leave?” Gohan says, now annoyed.
“Overprotective? You think that I’m overprotective?” she starts to cry, “I just wanted the best for you and Pan.”
“Aw mom don’t start this. I know that’s all you want for Pan and me, but I’m leaving. And you CANNOT and I repeat CANNOT tell me to stay. I’m 30 years old and have a daughter. I need to be out on my own, like years ago. If it will make you feel any better I’ll find a nice place around here and you can come and check up on me anytime,” Gohan stated.
“But why must you move? There is enough room for all of us here, the house just won’t be the same without you and Pan,” Chichi said, wiping her tears away.
“Well mother, you will just have to cope with it. Besides, without Pan and me here, you will not have to go food shopping ever hour just to feed all of us. Just think, you will also have more time to spend with Dad and Goten. You worry too much about me and Pan that you are starting to forget about all the other people in this house hold,” Gohan said to his mother.
At this point Gohan goes up to his room where all his and Pan’s things are already packed up and ready to go. Chichi runs up after him and is in shock when she sees all his things already packed.
“So you are really leaving?” Chichi said, bursting tears.
“Yes but don’t worry we’ll still come over for dinner every once in a while.”
Gohan then starts to bring the boxes of stuff down to his car. (It’s a Toyota echo and it’s black)
Chichi then realizes that her mind control techniques really don’t work.
“Damn infomercial while you sleep learn to control minds tapes didn’t freaken work. Now my little baby is leaving,” Chichi said.
She starts to help Gohan pack up.
“Umm Gohan dear, where are you moving to?” Chichi asked.
“I bought an apartment down town. It’s called The Happy Go Lucky Apartments,” Gohan said.
He starts to laugh at his mother’s facial expressions.
“Mom I was just kidding, about the name anyway, The name is Maple Ridge Apts. And like I said before it’s downtown.”
“Oh I knew that you were only kidding. You are still my little kidder. You better say good bye to your father before you leave.”
“Oh I already did. He was the one who helped me picked out the apartment and he even gave me some extra money in case I needed it.”
“HE DID WHAT! Wait until I see him again,” Chichi said surprised.
“Umm, yeah well good bye mom I love you,” Gohan said.
He then drives away leaving Chichi all by herself.
“WOOOHOOO I’m finally free! WOOHOOO! YES!”
The Brief’s residence
Goku is sitting with Bulma and Vegeta, telling them about how he helped Gohan free himself.
“Yeah, well I was getting pretty sick and tired of Chichi telling Gohan that he wasn’t allowed to move. So one day I took him out apartment shopping and yesterday, I helped him move most of his stuff there while Chichi was doing her normal shopping trip,” Goku told his two friends.
“You are such a dumbass, Kakorott. Now Chichi is going to be down your throat about this whole thing, and then I’m going to have to hear about how Chichi is mad at you and all that other shit. Don’t you ever think before you do anything?” Vegeta asked, sounding a little annoyed but true.
“Umm, not usually,” the saiyan replied.
“Vegeta, now why must you be so cruel to poor Goku? He was just trying to help out his son,” Bulma scolded.
“Yeah but isn’t he only 13?” Vegeta asked, not realizing that it was 17 years since he saw Gohan last.
Bulma and Goku both just stare at Vegeta.
“Nani? What did I say?” the saiyan prince asked.
“You are such a dumbass, Gohan is thirty,” Bulma said.
“WHAT? When I was his age I was…umm never mind, Now I understand you Kakarott. Wait a minute; did I just say that understood you? I must be spending way too much time with you,” Vegeta said.
Vegeta then kicks Goku out.
“Now why did you do that?” his wife asked.
“Because he was beginning to make sense to me,” Vegeta said.
Bulma just laughs and goes into the kitchen and starts to clean up. Vegeta then walks into the living room to watch his daily soap, “Days of Our Lives”.
Now at Oak High:
The first period is now in session at 8:30 A.M. Goten and Trunks are sitting in two of the desks that are right next to each other. They are talking to each other like usual. A man comes in the room.; he happens to be the teacher.
“Hello class. My name is Mr. Clean,” said Mr. Clean.
Goten and Trunks start laughing quietly about the teacher’s name.
“I am your teacher this year.”
Then Celes and Jada run into Mr. Clean’s classroom. They were late, as usual.
“Damn ,they look hotter than this morning. They get hotter every moment, ya know?” Trunks said whispering.
“Yeah!” Goten answered back.
Mr. Clean then makes Celes and Jada stand in front of the class so he can yell at them and make an example of them to the class.
All of a sudden, an announcement comes over the PA system.
“Whoever’s red catilac’s license plate number 4A5Y-69V, please report to your car. It is on fire. If you do not come now, it with go from red and new to black and crispy. That is all. Thank you.”
Trunks raises his hand.
“Mr. Clean, isn’t your car’s license plate number 4A5Y-69V?” he asks.
“No my license plate number is 4A5Y-6…9…V…! Ahhh that is my car! Excuse me class.”
Mr. Clean runs out of the classroom screaming and almost knocking Celes and Jada over in the process.
While the teacher was out, Jack, the FAT bully, stands up and walks to the front of the class and turns to Celes and Jada, who were shocked at Mr. Clean’s reaction.
“Alright you two. Drop and give me 100 push-ups for being late. Now,” Jack said.
“Alright. I’ll give you 100 push-ups only because I didn’t get up in time to do my daily exercise. So what kind of push-ups should I do?” Celes asked in a smart voice.
“The ones were you clap in between. I have never seen any girl but Pink do those kind of push-ups,” Jack replied. He is a major asshole.
“Alright. Clap push-ups it is,” Celes said, only to humor him. She was not in the mood to fight. She thought that it was too early.
She looks at Jada giving her the signal to go and their classmates, who are watching in amazement, now surround the two of them.
The two females were done the 100 in less than a minute and a half. Trunks just stood there, arms crossed, and smiling proud at them. He was remembering when he and Celes trained that one time and she beat him in the push-ups race. Goten’s mouth just hung open in amazement. He had never seen anything like it.
“I can do that faster than you wimps,” Jack said.
***JC.N*** Jack thinks he is better than Celes and Jada. These three have been in the same classes since sixth grade and Jack as been trying to get the two females back for only Kami knows what. ::Celes butts in:: But, Jada, I thought it was because we wou….::Jada covers Celes’ mouth:: Back to the story… ::Celes bites Jada’s hand:: Ow, you little bitch…..***
“Yeah and I’m a monkey’s uncle,” Celes said sacristy.
“Consider yourself a monkey’s uncle,” Jack answered back in a bully tone.
“Too much talk, and not enough action,” Celes said, yawning.
“Celes, I’m going to the cafeteria to eat. See you there when you are done having your fun,” Jada said to her female friend.
“Ok, whatever, Jada,” she says, then focusing back to the current event going on, “Let’s see you do 100 clap push-ups faster than me. Come on let’s race.” She turns to Trunks, “Trunks, time us.”
“Ok. On your mark, get set, GO!”
Celes and Jack fall to the ground to do the clap push-ups. While Celes is on her 100th, Jack is still on his 9th. Everyone is cheering for Celes and booing Jack. After doing her push-ups, Celes gets up and starts to laugh an evil laugh at Jack.
“Celes is the winner!” Trunks says as Jack struggles to do his 13th.
“YEAH!” “YAHOO!!” “CELES YOU’RE THE WOMAN!” the class cheers as Celes stands there, arms crossed, and looking very pleased with herself.
“Shall I say, ‘I told you so?’ now or later?” she says. “Well I have to eat. See you later, fat boy.”
Celes turns towards the door and starts to go out when Trunks yells to her.
“Celes, what for me and Goten!”
The three find Jada at a lunch table, by herself, eating her daily breakfast of homemade health bars.
“Hey there’s Jada,” Trunks said, pointing to her.
“Why don’t we sit with her?” Goten asked.
“She’s not a people person anymore. She likes to be left alone. The only person that gets away with being with her is me. And that is only because we are like sisters,” Celes said in a soft voice so only Trunks and Goten could hear.
“Why is she like that?” Trunks asked in a concerned voice.
“ I think she won’t mind. Do you think so, Trunks,” said a cheerful Goten
“Maybe, your right,” Trunks agreed.
“Are you asking for a death wish?! Let’s just sit at THIS table. Ok!? Believe me, we don’t want to sit with Jada right now,” Celes’ voice got a little louder.
“Ok?” the two boys said together, hearing the annoyance in Celes’ tone.
With that said, Trunks, Celes, and Goten went and sat at a table close by. Jada did not notice them. She was reading a good book that she happened to like.
Suddenly, a big red-haired kid that was wearing a blue T-shirt with writing on it saying, “I’M THE MAN!” and blue jeans came up to Jada. His groups of friends come up to Jada as well. The leader of the group steps out of the middle and goes to Jada.
“You best friends with Celes Son?” Mike, the leader, asked.
Jada said nothing; she didn’t even look up.
“Did you hear me fucking bitch!” was Mike’s answer to her silence.
Jada turned the page in her book like no one was there.
“Well I guess you are the quiet type. So I’m guessing you are best friends with the fucking whore,” Mike said, with an attitude.
Jada puts her book down slowly and looks up. Her face has an ‘I-am-going-to-kill-you’ look.
“Well, I heard she was a no-good, poor-ass, fucken-bitch who is the dumbest person alive!” he said to her face as he and his group laughs.
Jada then stands up really fast, and grabs his neck, and practically choked him.
Celes, Trunks, and Goten stand up and looked surprised at Jada, but furious at Mike’s remark about Celes.
“What?… You know it is probably, wait it is true,” Mike said trying to pry her hands off of his neck.
“What did you say! No one and I mean NO ONE says ANYTHING about my best friend like that but me, you fucken bastard! You have NO right you bastard!” Jada yelled as she starts to power up.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! OH MY GOD!” Mike screamed.
“Run for your life. She lost it!” Mike’s group said as they ran out of the cafeteria.
“What the hell is she doing!” Goten asked.
“Goten, Celes do you feel that power I’m feeling now?” Trunks asked seriously.
“Yeah, who is it coming from? Its…its…its JADA!” he finally got out.
Jada powers up to super saiyan 9, ***W.N. yes there is such a thing….now anyway*** her hair turns gold, eyes teal; like all saiyan do. She was and still is very pissed at what Mike said.
“Does that mean SHE IS part saiyan?!” Goten asked, now baffled.
“What the hell ARE you?” Mike asked, now scared out of his mind.
“I am what you see Sephiroth!” Jada said.
“SEPHIROTH? Wait a minute, she is going to kill that kid if we don’t stop her. Come on you guys!” Celes yelled as she ran over to where Jada was.
Trunks and Goten follow over to Jada and try to snap her out of her trance. Goten tried talking to her.
“Jada, drop him, he didn’t mean it.”
It doesn’t work. Trunks tried physical contact threats.
“If you don’t drop him, I’ll be forced to hurt you badly and I mean it!”
That didn’t work either. Celes was trying to remember how to get her out of this trance like last time.
“I remember!” Celes said out loud.
“Remember what?” Trunks asked her, confused.
“How to get Jada out of this.” Celes started. She turns to Jada, “Jada, take this outside. You don’t want to hurt the innocent people in here.”
“Fine. Let’s go Sephiroth! We are going outside to play,” she answers and laughs evilly.
Jada goes outside with Mike, still in her grasp, followed by Celes, Trunks, and Goten.
Celes powers up an attack, and fires at Jada.
“Sorry, Jada, but this is the only way that you will snap out of this,” Celes said as she shot the ki blast.
The huge ki blast shoot from Celes’ hands and hit Jada, making her drop Mike, who is unharmed, and making her fall as well.
She snaps out of the trance. While Trunks and Goten are amazed at what Celes can do, Celes runs over to Jada, seeing if she is all right.
“You ok, Jada? You almost killed Mike. I know he was dising me, but you have to realize that was not Sephiroth. When someone dises me, let me handle it, because you get carried away. And I don’t want to have to blast you again ok,” said Celes helping Jada up.
“Yeah I know. But you know how I get when someone dises my friends or family. And sorry about that,” Jada answered.
“I know and that is why I am your best friend.”
Trunks and Goten run to Jada to see if she is fine.
“Celes, is Jada ok? What the heck just happened? And who the HELL is Sephiroth!?” Trunks asked.
“Yeah, what he said,” Goten pointed at his one friend.
Celes turns to Jada. They look at each other with a sad face.
“Jada, do you think you should tell them,” she asked in a whisper.
No response from Jada. She then sighs, stands up slowly and walks away from the group.
“Jada?” Goten questioned.
“Where is she going to, guys!” Trunks asked watching Jada leave.
“Jada,” Celes said quietly to herself.
“What happened? I mean one minute she was fine and the next she wasn’t?!” Goten asked, really wanting to know.
Chapter 3: Jada Secret
At Jada’s House:
It was 10:00 at night. Jada still hasn’t come home; not since what happened to her at school.
Celes went to Jada’s house to see if she was fine and if she came home. Celes walked to the door and rang the doorbell.
“Hi Celes,” Jada’s mother said, opening the door.
“Hi, Mrs. LockHeart. Is Jada home? I need to talk to her.’
“Nani? I thought she was with you?”
“You mean she not here?”
“No, she never came home after school. Celes, do you know where she might be?”
“What is going on here,” Jada’s father asked, coming to the door.
Jada’s mother turned sadly to her husband who was now standing next to her.
“Dear, Jada hasn’t come home yet from school and I thought she went to Celes’ house. But she is not there.”
“Celes, have you seen her?” Jada’s father asked.
Celes didn’t answer.
“I asked you a question! DID YOU SEE HER DAMNIT!” he practically yelled.
“I saw her at school! She said that she was going home!” Celes yelled back at him.
***C.N. Celes doesn’t like Jada’s father and he doesn’t like Celes.***
“Skyler! Let’s go inside to call the police. Good bye, Celes,” Jada’s mother said, closing the door
“Good luck. Bye,” Celes said in a whisper.
At C.C. building, Trunks and Goten were playing a video game. Goten was staying for the night. Bulma was in the kitchen cleaning the dishes, Bra was at a friend’s house, and Vegeta was sparing with Goku somewhere. It was pouring down rain, hard, when the doorbell rang.
“Trunks can you get the door,” Bulma asked her son from her spot in the kitchen.
“Ok, mom, be there in a minute!”
“Here, I’ll pause it,” Goten said hitting the start button.
Trunks and Goten walked to the door and Trunks answered the door like asked.
“Hi Celes. What happen?” Goten asked.
“Nani? Celes, what are you doing here? Your soaked! Get in here before you catch something,” Trunks said.
“Thanks, Trunks,” Celes said, walking into the building.
Trunks and Goten walk her to the living room and sit her down in a chair.
“Goten get some dry towels for Celes to dry off,” Trunks said sitting down on the couch
Goten nodded and walked out of the living room and headed for the bathroom. He got a couple towels and walked back to the living room.
“Why are you here at this time at night?” Trunks asked Celes .
“Here, Celes,” Goten said handing the towels to Celes.
“Thanks, Goten. Trunks, Goten have you two seen Jada?” Celes asked drying herself.
“No, I haven’t seen her,” Trunks told her.
“Neither have I,” Goten answered.
“Why are you looking for her anyway?” asked her purple-haired friend.
“Well, she was suppose to call me but she never did. So, I went to Jada’s house after you guys left to see if she was there, which she wasn’t, and her parents haven’t seen her either. And now I’m worried because this isn’t like her at all. She would have at least came to my place if she didn’t want to go home,” Celes explained.
“Don’t worry, Goten and I will find her for you. You stay here and dry off before you catch something. Goten, let’s go.”
“I’m coming too!” Celes said as she jumped up from her seat.
“NO!” the two males said together.
“Fine. But I still want to go. Find her as fast as you can, guys,” Celes answered.
“Good girl,” Trunks said.
“Hey, I am NOT a dog, so don’t treat me like one. Ok?” said Celes, sitting back down.
“Aw, to bad, I wish you were one. Then I could give you this,” Goten said giving Celes a dog biscuit, “Here you go! Hehehe.”
Celes grabs Goten’s shirt collar and pulled his face to hers so that their noses are an inch from each other’s.
“Goten knock it off,” she said in an irritated voice.
“Heh.” Goten laughed a bit.
“Goten, this is no time to be joking around. We have to find Jada,” Trunks said as Celes put her uncle down.
“Yeah, you’re right sorry. Lets go, Trunks.”
In the city, it was it 11:00 at night. Trunks and Goten have been looking all over the city, but found no sign of Jada.
In the park, Jada is sitting on a park bench and she was in pain.
“What is happening to me? My body hurts all over. But not one touched me at all,” Jada said to herself.
She, being in a lot of pain, falls on her knees and grabs her T-shirt in pain and yells.
Trunks and Goten hear someone screaming.
“Who was that?” Trunks asked.
“It’s Jada,” answered Goten.
“But how do you know that?”
“I know what her power level happens to be.”
“Ok. Let’s go then.”
They flew over to where they heard the scream was coming from and they found Jada. Trunks and Goten flew over to where she was kneeling.
“There she is, down in the park,” Goten told his friend.
“Thank Dende we found her,” replied Trunks.
Trunks and Goten fly next to her. Goten walks over to her and puts his hand on her shoulder, as if to tell her they were there to help her if she was willing to accept it.
“Hey? Are you all right? Are you hurt?” Goten asked her.
Jada was breathing heavily.
“Huh?” Jada asked as she turned to see who was there.
She slaps Goten’s hand away as she realizes that he was the one who was there. She grabs her shirt in pain one more time because of the pain.
“It’s just the same attack as always. I’ll be all right. Leave me alone,” Jada said in a sort of evil voice.
“No, you need help and you need it quick. And what do you mean this is just the same attack? You don’t look like you are well,” Goten said to Jada standing up.
“He’s right, Jada. You aren’t ok. Celes came to my house and said she couldn’t find you and you weren’t home,” Trunks said now standing next to his friend.
“Why did you leave school like that?” Goten asked, getting onto his knees next to Jada. “Look, we won’t tell anyone.”
“Why do you two care? First of all it is my problem, not yours and second there is no way in hell that I am going to ‘talk’ about my problems with you. Who cares if I die! I am just a other person, a number on a list. So go away,” she said to the two who were just standing there.
“Ok, you don’t have to us any thing. Your hurt so at least come to Trunks’ house to heal up.”
“No! I’m fine.”
Jada tried to get up, but she fell back on her knees.
“No, you’re not. Your hurt, we can tell. You grab your shirt when you are in pain and you can’t even get up for God’s sake,” Trunks said.
Jada gets ups, but limps away from Goten and Trunks. Slowly but surely.
“Look, I can take care of myself. Ok! I’m not a weakling like you two! So leave me alone.”
Jada grabs her shirt once more from the pain before she faints. Goten and Trunks run over to her and now they were really worried.
Goten picked her up and looked at her.
“She needs help and quick… ” Goten thought to himself.
“Trunks, let’s go to your house, that way Jada can get better there. Your mom can help her better then we can,” Goten said out loud this time.
“Alright, lets go.”
They flew as fasts as they could to get back to Capsule Corp.
Now at CC building
Celes and Bulma were out front looking for any signs of Trunks, Goten, and Jada in the night sky. The wind was cold like ice. Celes then heard a blast from the distance.
“Did you hear that?” Celes asked.
“Yeah. Its Trunks and Goten bringing your friend back.”
“Yes, they did it! I hope Jada is ok.”
“There they are,” Bulma said to Celes. Yelling to the others, “Trunks, Goten, Jada we’re down here.” She waves her hands back and forth.
“Oh no,” Celes said.
Bulma turns quickly to Celes.
“Nani?”
“Jada is injured.”
Trunks and Goten landed next to them; Jada in Goten’s arms. Celes runs to them to find out what happen.
“Welcome back, Trunks, Goten…Jada! What in Dende's name have you done to her? Oh Kami!
“We did nothing to her, mom. She was like that when we found her.
“Bulma, you have to help her. She is injured badly,” Goten said.
“What happen to her, guys?” Celes asked very concerned.
“Bring her in you guys so I can help her,” Bulma said heading for the door.
“Right Bulma,” Goten said following her.
They take her inside, into the living room. Goten laid her down on the couch.
“Is she going to be alright?” asked Goten.
“Will she?” Celes asked.
“I hope so. Trunks, get my First aid kit.”
“Right, mom.”
Trunks ran to the lab.
“How is that thing go to help her?” Celes asked.
“You’ll see.”
When he came back he had in his hand a very super huge medical case that was for saiyan type injures.
***C.N go figure…***
“Here mom,” Trunks said while handing the case to his mother.
“Thanks, son,” Bulma said, turning to Celes after taking the case. “Celes, your friend has a broken arm and six of her ribs are also.”
“Please do something about it. I know her; she’ll still do what she does everyday like nothing happened. She can't walk around like this,” Celes answered back.
“Of course. She wouldn’t be able to do anything being so torn apart and in pain.”
Jada winced heavily at a pain she felt as Bulma finished putting bandages on Jada and woke up.
“Where am I?” she asked sitting up.
Goten push Trunks out of the way to see Jada.
“Jada your up? How are you feeling now?” Goten asked.
“Like a damn bus hit me you jackass.” Jada responded.
“At least she didn’t change from that,” Celes said out loud to no one in particular.
“What happened?” Jada asked.
“You fainted so we brought you here to my house to help you get better,” Trunks told her.
“I thought I told you that I don’t need help!”
“Funny, you remind me of someone,” Bulma said. “Trunks, can you take Jada to Regeneration Room?”
“Ok, mom. Jada, lets go.”
“I can do it myself.”
Jada started to get up, but Celes went over to Jada.
“Jada, just do what he tells you to do, alright? They know what they are doing,” Celes told her friend.
“Fine you win,” Jada said.
“I never thought to see the day.” Celes thought.
Trunks helped Jada walk to the Regeneration Room. Celes and Goten were about to walk down with them when Bulma stopped them in their tracks.
“Sorry, guys, only Jada and myself are allowed to go in this time. Trunks is just helping her for me while I clean up here.”
Trunks helps Jada up onto the cold table in the Regeneration Room. Bulma waited until the two of them were the only two in the room to talk to her.
"Ok, now, I have to known how much time to set the tank’s clock to, but to do that I have to feel around, ok."
"What? You have to touch me? No way! I’m fine.”
“That’s a lie and you know it.”
“No way! This stuff hurts like hell without your hands on me. Stay away from me or I’ll blast you to King Kai in heaven if you do.”
"Jada, please let me see.”
“N-O.”
“You can be so stubborn sometimes, you know. Shut up and let me see…ok."
Bulma started to head towards her arm that was smashed to pieces. She pulled it away, but was upset with the consequences of moving her arm. Jada yelped in pain and let it slide back into place, where Bulma started to feel around it to see how bad it really was. She could feel the tenseness in her body.
Bulma was having a little problem; she was having trouble knowing exactly what was wrong with the bone for a while. When she actually started to squeeze Jada’s arm, Jada winced and bit her lip, afraid to let a yell out in pain. Bulma had to squeeze it harder and harder, until Jada erupted with a loud yelp.
She was so embarrassed at showing such a sign of weakness to her that she bit her lip so hard it drew blood. Bulma just kept feeling around until she concluded that her arm was in pretty bad shape.
“What on Earth happened to it, Jada?"
“I don’t know.”
“Alright, time for your ribs. Now don't you hit me, I have to see what kind of shape they are in so that I can see how to fix it, got it?"
Bulma put her hands on Jada’s rib cage and Jada yelled out loud ow.
“Hmmm…" Bulma shrugged and started feeling along her ribcage. “My God! They're practically all snapped off and pointing inwards! Wait a minute, that The problem…” Bulma thought. “Jada, are you having any trouble at all breathing?"
She also noticed that Jada made her lip bleed.
“N...not...really..." she said, having trouble breathing.
This was getting a little more serious in Bulma’s opinion. She looked at Jada’s face, which was twisted up, tightened, and pale. Her eyes looked like they were wide open, squeezed and tight at the same time.
"Are you sure? It doesn't hurt when you breathe or anything right?"
"Actually…come to…think of it…yeah, it hurts like hell," Jada committed.
She passed out and almost fell onto the floor, but Bulma caught her.
“Jada!? Can you hear me?”
She tried to remain calm, but was frightened by this sudden change of events. She thought that she was tougher than this. She had received worries.
Bulma realized it was as she had suspected. Her ribs were starting to tear up her lungs as she breathed. Bulma knew it was true at Jada was dying right then and there. She checked on her for a pulse, which was getting slower by the second. Her breathing sounded choked, and she was starting to get a little pale in the face. ***J.N Ok… ok Very Pale. Are happy now?***
Bulma took action. She knew the regeneration tank was way too slow for this kind of emergency. She decided to take her to the hospital.
“TRUNKS, GOTEN, CELES! COME HERE NOW AND QUICKLY! JADA NEEDS HELP!” Bulma yelled to the teenagers.
They run as fast as they could to the Regeneration Room to see what happened to Jada. When they got there, Jada was in Bulma arms.
“What happened?” the three asked together.
“Is Jada ok?” Celes asked.
“Jada’s going to die if we don’t get her to the hospital!” Bulma said in panic.
“Right,” Goten nodded.
Goten, without thinking, grabs Jada and runs up the stairs and out the door. Trunks and Celes run after him. Goten flew as fast as he could. Celes and Trunks had trouble catching up to Goten because of his speed, and Bulma drove the car there.
On the way to the hospital, several people sighted them. They stare at the flying group as they pass over. Goten, Celes, and Trunks however, didn’t noticed nor cared; they just speed up and shot past them all. At that time some people fell down as they flew by.
“Uh…uh….”
“Hold on Jada, Where all most there., Goten said as Jada coughed.
On arriving at the hospital, Goten ran to the doors and blasted them down. In the hospital:
“HI…Hi, my friend is dying and she needs help, fast,” exclaimed Goten.
“Please sir sit down, First we need you to fill out these papers in order to save you friend.”
“WHAT!? You want me to fill these papers out while my friend is dying?! YOU PEOPLE ARE BAKAS!”
“Please, sir, sit down. You’re making a scene.”
“Ok…hand me the papers,” he smiles, “ please.” The nurse handed him the papers. “Thank you,” Goten said still smiling. He grabs the papers, throws them in the air, and blasts them. “There, your papers are filled out now! NOW HELP HER GOD DAMNIT!! My friend is DYING, I have to get her to the emergency room. If I was going to fill them out now, she could be dead right now! As a matter of fact, I better check on her," he said trying not to ki blast the nurse to pieces.
The nurse didn't believe it at first, because he looked like someone who would lie at first. However, when Goten laid Jada down on the chairs to check on her, the nurse was shocked at the girl's horrible appearance of being black and blue all over.
“Oh no, Jada, she's almost gone,” Goten thought aloud.
The nurses and doctors rushed around, putting all sorts of things on, around, and into her. They had already notified Goten that she would need surgery. Jada was whisked out of sight. One nurse stays behind.
“Ok, sir, now can you fill them out? Sorry for what happen earlier. If I realized what bad condition she was in, I would have called the doctors out sooner,” the nurse informed him.
“Alright.”
Goten takes the papers and sits down and starts to fill them out.
“Ok … now. Name, last name, age, sex, blood type…etc. Ok is this for her or me?…Mm…I got it. Name: Jada, last name: Son, just in case it may be for me. Now for age… um… 15 I guess, sex: like duh female, and blood type: I have a clue. Okay, I guess I put unknown?” Goten said aloud to himself.
Goten got up from his set and gave the papers to the nurse. Trunks, Celes, and Bulma come into the hospital afterwards. They sit on the bench for quite a few hours in silence after Goten explained what happened before they go there. After three hours, Bulma decided to go back home and wait for a call on how Jada was doing.
“Guys, I’m going home, ok? Call me when Jada wakes up,” Bulma said as she got up and left.
Right after Bulma pulled out of the hospital’s parking lot and flew home, the nurse came out and called Goten’s last name from the waiting list.
“Finally,” Goten said, getting up from his set.
“Goten, that isn’t Jada’s last name,” Trunks told his dumb friend.
“I know, but they asked for my last name, so I gave it to them,” Goten answered.
“They mean Jada’s last name NOT yours you dumb ass!” Trunks yelled at his friend.
“Oh well, it’s only a name. Now let’s go see Jada,” Celes said, breaking up the argument.
They got up and went with the nurse to room 964, where they found Jada, still unconscious, lying in a hospital bed. They had never seen a more pitiful sight in their life.
“She sure was in a bad shape, but we think she’ll be fine in about 9 months to a year,” the nurse said, checking the chart carefully.
“NINE MONTHS TO A YEAR!?” the three yelled in unison.
“Yes. She’ll live but she is very weak,” the nurse responded.
“Is she your girlfriend?” the nurse asked Goten as she walked over to him.
Trunks and Celes were shocked at the nurse. How could she think that Jada and Goten were going out together at a time like this.
Goten blushed, “Oh, no. She's just a friend.”
“Oh. I thought she looked a little short for you anyway,” the nurse stated.
Goten was about to knock the nurse upside her head when Celes and Trunks sensed it and held him back.
After the nurse left, the three friends sat by Jada's bed for hours on end. Unfortunately, she didn't wake up.
A few hours went by and the doctor walked into Jada’s room to see how Jada was doing. He went to the bed and picked up the chart from the bed. He looked it over while the three half saiyans stared at the doctor. He looked to them and began to talk to them.
“Well, she is doing better today.”
“What will the others do when they find out that I love her? Will they think I'm weird?” Goten thought to himself while the doctor went on reading the chart.
“What’s wrong, Goten?” Trunks asked as the doctor left the room.
“Nothing! What would make you think that something is wrong?” Goten answered and the nurse came into the room.
“Sorry, but visiting time is now over.”
“Ok. Come on guys. We have to leave,” Celes said as she got up and took the boys’ hands.
Trunks, Celes, and Goten leave that night and go to Capsule Corporation.
Three months later…
Goten left Trunks’ house the night before to go to the hospital. He left while Trunks and Celes asleep. **C.N No, I did NOT sleep in the same bed as Trunks that night. Not that I wouldn’t have minded but… The three of us had a sleep over thing so that we could all go visit Jada together…*** Goten wanted to visit Jada by himself to see if she woke up yet. When he got there Jada was still unconscious. Goten was really worried about her. He was determined to stay with her all day.
When Trunks and Celes woke up that morning, Goten was gone of from his bed. But Goten did tell Bulma and Vegeta at he was going to the hospital and that he would be back soon.
Trunks and Celes walk down stairs, and into the kitchen, thinking that Goten must be downstairs eating.
“ Who cares!” shouted Vegeta as Trunks and Celes walk into the room.
“Vegeta, that's horrible! I mean, I know she is very…unpleasant to you, but for anything like that to happen to anyone is really terrible. Shame on you, Vegeta!” Bulma yelled back, scolding him.
“Who are you guys talking about?” Trunks asked, getting himself and Celes breakfast.
“Oh, good morning, Trunks, Celes. We were talking about your friend, Jada,” Bulma said in a sweet, loving voice as if nothing was going on.
After Trunks and Celes ate, and Bulma and Vegeta argued more, Celes cleaned up the breakfast mess. The two teens went upstairs and got dressed. They went back into the kitchen.
“Well, Mom, Celes and I are going to the hospital. Be back soon! Oh yeah, can you tell Goten we went to the hospital?”
“That brat left this morning. Before you two brats woke up,” Vegeta said, not liking the fact that he lost the argument.
“You mean he’s at the hospital already? But why?” Celes asked.
“Oh well. Cya later Mom, Dad,” Trunks said pulling Celes out the door.
“Bye Bulma, Vegeta.”
When the two were out of the house and walking on the road, Trunks stopped and looked at Celes.
“Do you think we should go over there? To the hospital, I mean. To keep Jada company?” Trunks asked her.
“I think it's the right thing to do, Trunks. She is our friend and we should be there for her.”
“I suppose. If we do go I think we’ll find Goten there. Why he stays there with her is a complete mystery to me. I thought they hated each other."
Goten spent the whole night with Jada. It was about ten o'clock the next day, and she had still didn’t wake up. Goten made a little yelp of surprise as the door came open and his friends walked in.
“Hi, Goten. We thought you might be here. Want some company?” Trunks asked, awkwardly.
Celes just stood there in silence, and stared at her feet or at Jada.
“Well…uh…gee, thanks. How long are you two going to be here?” Goten asked, completely embarrassed.
“Oh, we are going to stay here to keep you company until you leave," Celes said, still not looking up.
“It wasn't your fault, Celes,” Goten said as he turned to her and noticed the look on her face.
“I know, I know but…I hit her too hard this time,” she looked up and put on her best fake smile, “Well, I’m going to get some tea. Do you two want any?”
“Sure,” the two said together.
Celes looked at Jada. She took off down the hall, glad to be out of the embarrassing situation. Trunks, however, just rolled his eyes, pulled up another chair, and sat down next to Goten.
“It's ok, Goten, let it out. I'm your friend and I’m here to help. So, Goten, what brought you two together?”
“What do you mean?”
“You know what I mean!” Trunks said, smirking.
“No I don’t," Goten said, putting on a fake smile.
“Get over it, Goten. I find it a little odd, but there's a reason for everything. I want you to tell me.”
Goten couldn’t get out of this one no matter how hard he tried, so he gave in.
“Well, it's like this. Remember at time when I first meet her three months ago? Well practically right after, I fell in love with her. Also, hey! She has a great body! So I figure what the heck.”
Trunks’ eyes were wide with wonder. He couldn’t hold it in any longer; he burst into laughter. He looked at Jada's serious face and laughed even harder.
“Her...Hehehe! Imagine...hehehe! Oh man, Goten, this is way too much." Trunks said, calming down.
“Please, Trunks, promise not to tell anyone? And don’t let Jada found out. Don’t even think about dropping hints to her either,” Goten pleaded.
“I won't," Trunks said in a serious and understanding tone. “If I know anything about that girl, it's that she has pride. I respect that. I know that her reputation is part of her pride, and I respect that too. Don't worry, Goten.”
“Thanks so much, Trunks.”
At that moment, Celes walked back into the room with the tea.
“What were you two taking about?”
“Nothing!” the two shouted together.
They were both relatively quiet for the rest of the day.
A few hours after the ‘nothing’ instant, Jada was shaking back and forth, yelling, kicking, and even punching in her sleep; the heart machine was going nuts.
“What’s going on with Jada!” Goten asked, worried.
Trunks covers Goten’s mouth so he couldn’t talk.
“Shut up, Goten. I want to know what Jada is saying,” Trunks said hushed.
“She must be dreaming,” Celes said, knowing that something like this would have happened.
“No, Sephrioth, no! I’ll get you! You hear me!? I’ll catch you then I’ll kill you, you BASTERD!” Jada screamed in her slumber.
Meanwhile, in Jada’s dream…
Jada was in her old hometown. Her house was big and a beautiful shade of blue. It looked like Goku’s house a bit.
“What the hell? Can it be… my hometown? But it was burned down to the ground years ago when I was four,” Jada said to herself out loud.
“Welcome back, Jada,” a boy’s voice said.
Jada turned and saw a little girl running to her brother; she had black hair like Jada’s and she looked a lot like her too.
“What the? She’s…ME?!” Jada said shocked.
“Cloud, Cloud! Guess what!” the little Jada asked her brother, tugging at his shirt.
“I’m four years old again? What’s going on?” Jada asked herself as she watched her past replay before her.
Jada’s real mother died when Jada was only two. Her father was supposedly killed by Sephiroth and Cloud, her older brother, was raising her.
Cloud kneeled on the ground so that little Jada could sit on his knee. His arms wrapped around Jada as he gave her a hug. He lifted her off the ground and swung her around.
“What is it JJ?” Cloud asked his little sister as he put her down.
“I learned to fly. Just like you!” little Jada responded.
“That’s wonderful! Who taught you?”
“No one taught me. I learned all by myself.”
A man in a black trench coat and who went by the name Sephiroth, walked over quietly to the two as his plan was to kidnap Jada. Cloud straightened up as he saw the man.
“Jada, go off and play, ok,” Cloud told her as he pushed her in a direction.
“But why?” little Jada asked.
“Just do what I said, Jada,” Cloud said, not taking his eyes off of Sephiroth.
Jada looked at her brother in the eye and saw the look that meant do as I say now or else.
“Oook.”
She turned and ran to the back of the house, peering over the side to see what was going on.
As soon as Cloud knew that Jada was out of harms way, he stared at the man in the black trench coat.
“What do you want, sir?” Cloud asked.
“I want the girl!”
“For what? She is a normal girl. What is so special about her?” Cloud said lying.
“She is half saiyan and half ancient.”
“What the hell are you talking about? And who are you?” Cloud asked.
“A saiyan is a great warrior and ancients have magical powers. When an ancient reaches their full power or beyond, they get wings. As for me, I am the Great Sephiroth.”
“So? You still can’t have her!”
“Give her to me now and I might let you live.”
Little Jada, being stupid, comes out of her hiding spot in to the plan view of Sephiroth.
“I don’t want to go with you!” little Jada yelled.
“But, Jada, you are a special child and you need to come with me so I can show you how to use your special powers.”
“No, I don’t care if I’m special! I don’t want to go with you!” little Jada yelled back as she ran away from the two men and the house.
“Ah, I like playing ‘Cats and Mice.’ One of my favorite games,” Sephiroth said, evilly.
“You stay away from her!” Cloud yelled, seeing that Sephiroth was about to go after her.
“And whose going to stop me?”
“If you lay one finger on her I will personally kill you”
“You and what army?”
With that, Sephiroth started to chase after Jada. They run into the house and up the stairs. Jada tries to run to get behind her brother for protection but is cut off by Sephiroth.
“Cloud! Help me! Please!” little Jada screamed.
“Hold on, Jada!” Cloud yelled to her as he ran inside to get to her. He ran up the stairs and attacked Sephiroth. Cloud kept punching and kicking him but nothing affected him. Soon, Sephiroth grew annoyed and shot a beam at Cloud.
“Die, boy.”
The instant Cloud was hit and the beam went through him, he died. Leaving Jada as the only soul survivor of the family.
“NO! Cloud! No! Sephiroth, I’ll get you! You hear me! I will get you and kill you! You bastered!” little Jada yelled, crying out in pain that she lost her brother. Jada was now forced to fight alone. “You had NO right to do that, Sephiroth!” Jada screamed, getting into a fighting stance.
“Aw the little girl wants to beat me up. Oh no. What ever shall I do? Hehehehe.”
Sephiroth just stands there while Jada flies at him to attack. He disappears a split second before Jada hits him. He reappears behind her, grabs her neck and starts to choke her. Jada tries to escape his death grip that was keeping her from fighting him, but she couldn’t escape.
“Mwahahahaha. Jada your mine! Hahahaha!”
“What…” she chokes, “the…HELL?” Jada said, grabbing Sephiroth’s arms, trying to pry them away from her neck.
Back at the hospital…
Goten was getting choked by Jada.
“Jada…*choke*…Jada let me go,” Goten said, waving his arms in the air like a retard.
Celes runs up to Jada and started to shake Jada. Trunks was helping too.
“Jada! Wake the fuck up! Your going to kill Goten!” Celes yelled, not normally cursing that badly. “It’s no use. She won’t get up,” she stopped shaking Jada and let Trunks have a turn.
“Get up NOW!” Trunks yelled into Jada’s ear.
That did the trick. Jada instantly woke up.
“Huh? What the? Oh my God, sorry Goten!” Jada said, letting him go and not knowing what she was doing or how she was acting.
“Nani?” everyone asked in unison. They couldn’t believe their eyes or ears.
“How long have I been sleeping? A day? A week?” Jada asked, sitting up and stretching.
“No, Jada. you have been out for three months,” Celes said calmly.
“What?! What happened?”
“You were worse than we thought. The doctor said that you wouldn’t be up for nine months to a year. Trunks, Goten, and myself have been here every single day since you came in. Every single day, Jada,” Celes answered.
“So, how much more time do I have to spend in this hell hole?” Jada asked, standing up.
“Another three months,” Trunks answered her.
“Oh, well three months isn’t ba—What?! Three months! Are you guys out of your stinking minds?!” Jada screamed.
“Another three months can’t be that bad,” Goten said, still rubbing his neck.
“Another three months can’t be that bad he says! Heh! This just isn’t my day. Just great…” Jada said sarcastically.
“Oh just great yourself, shortie,” Celes said.
Jada turned to Celes, “Don’t call me shortie.”
“Humph. I’ll call you shortie if I want to. Your two inches shorter than I am so technically, you’re shortie.”
“Whoop de do da day. Two inches.”
“Baka. Go pin a rose on your nose, or shall I do it for you?”
“Go ahead, make my day.”
“Put a sock in it, Jada.”
“Ya, well I can still kick your ass.”
“What? You want to take this outside?”
“Go chew on a pig, bitch.”
“I’m not a bitch, I’m The Bitch, and that’s Mrs. Bitch to you.”
“Eat my shorts.”
At this moment, Trunks and Goten erupted with laughter.
“Ahahahaha. The last one was really funny. Phffff hahahahaha,” Trunks and Goten laughed.
Celes turned sharply to face the two boys.
“Trunks! Goten! You’re not supposed to laugh at her jokes…heheheh…” Celes scolded as she went into a fit of laughter herself. Jada was wearing a smirk on her face and chuckling to herself. She was relieved to be alive and to know that Celes, Trunks and Goten were there for her the whole time, making sure that nothing went wrong. She was happy to know that she has friends to back her up when she needs them.
