Habitat:    This insect is often found flying in the

Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. Its

sticky feet allow it to cling to the highest

mountains. It is very fond of the cool, dry air found

in this region.

 

Food Source: ants, flies, ladybugs, grass, moss, and

other small insects.

 

Predators: Birds, deer, other large insects, Homo

sapiens (for their beauty)

 

Structural Adaptations: Their sticky feet allow them to cling to branches, mountains, or where­ ever they choose to land despite strong winds.
