This is Lightning Racer, the first and only dueling and racing wooden roller coasters in the United States. Added to Hersheypark in 2000, Lightning Racer consists of two different tracks - one named "Lightning" and the other named "Thunder", thus creating a unique thunderstorm theme. Lightning Racer has a total of 15 drops and both trains go a little over 50 miles per hour at the bottom of the first 90-foot drop.
