Williams Grove is a traditional park in a forest. It seems to be a pretty, nice park with absolutely no crowds or lines. Unfortunately, the Cyclone old wooden coaster was closed, so we could not ride it (:(). We just rode their “new” Wildcat coaster and left. We were given discount coupons to return later in the season to ride the Cyclone, but we never got back to Williams Grove. Because I did not get the whole Williams Grove experience, and only rode one ride, I will just give the good park a 3 rating (Average), but I think it looked nice and fun. Hopefully I will get back to Williams Grove soon, at which time I will write a more in–depth evaluation.

The Wildcat is Williams Grove’s "new" roller coaster. It is actually very old and used, just ‘new to this park.’ It is a usual figure-8 Wildcat built by Anton Schwarzkopf. Copies can be found at Cedar Point (OH) and Keansburg (NJ). This has fun little dips and exciting banked helixes. Also, Wildcat was one of the creepiest coasters I’ve been on. The ride attendant was friendly, but creepy-looking and he smoked on the job; the cars’ hold-bars were all taped up, and the tape was completely coming off – very sticky, and same thing with the lapbar; and the single lapbars only locked about 2 inches down and was not checked by the worker, so we probably could have stood up and died. The ride was fun, but not too fun, and also pretty creepy.
