Alicia's new single is "How Come You Don't Call Me"

Album Certified Platinum
Alicia's debut album, Songs In A Minor, was certified platinum today (July 23, 2001). MTV Video Music Awards Alicia Keys has been confirmed as one of the performers at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards. She is also up for the Best New Artist In A Video award for "Fallin.'" The 2001 MTV Video Music Awards airs Thursday, September 6.

New Single
Alicia's next single and video from her album will be "A Woman's Worth," according to MTV.

Remix Release Date
The expected release date for the "Fallin' Remix" single is July 31, 2001, according to CDnow. I don't really like it--itz better the normal way. (Thats what I think)

Greatest Gainer
"Fallin'" is this week's (July 28, 2001) Greatest Gainer/Airplay single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It moves up from #30 to #14.

Back On Top
Alicia's debut album is back at number one its third week out, beating a much-anticipated P. Diddy release. According to SoundScan, sales have gone up 28% since last week, selling another 222,000 copies.

Alicia Debuts At #1!
Alicia Keys' first album, Songs In A Minor, debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Selling 236,000 copies in its first week out, Songs In A Minor knocks D12's Devil's Night out of the #1 position which is real good-- cause I looooove D12! So Keep it up!!
