Razzle
Razzle and I, 1997
Along with Easy, Razzle was a horse I used for jumping. His owner, Tara, barrel raced with him at Cowtown, but she got a new new horse to train for barrels. She let me ride Razle when she wasn't competing with him. He was always a hyper horse and for awhile I had a problem with hanging on his mouth when riding English. I corrected the problem, and had tons of fun with him. He was a good jumper, but never liked "real" jumps. Although he never refused logs, occasionally he would refuse a normal jump. After awhile, he stopped liking barrel racing. His nose bled when he ran, so he always had to be given Lasex before running. Maybe that had somethign to do with it. Maybe he just decided he liked English better. I don't know. At any rate, Tara sold Razzle not long after I left Timber Creek Ranch. His new owner uses him for trailriding and loves him to death.
