Commercial Blackout

Commercial Blackout

HEY Welcome to the Commercial Blackout page! In case you are wondering about that pic there, it was taken at the Radical Rock Ractionaries last school year. It was featured on the front page of the Hi's Eye.

Commercial Blackout is:

Joe Lawrie: vocals, guitars Adam Kaye: guitars, effects
Jon Calvert: Bass Noise Vic Pinho: drums, pretty boy

Commercial is a local band that all of our friends know and love. well maybe not love......but you get the idea.
Here's where you lucky people get to find out everything about the band and what they do.
NOTE: yes there is another site for CB but since i feel that it dosen't do the band enough justice im creating this one to solve that problem.
So now it's time to find out bout the band it self, aight?

First we have Joe Lawrie. Joe is the lead vocalist and plays guitar. He's out of high school and is going to St. Joseph's University in the fall. He jas just started a new band. There is no name yet but well keep you updated.
Next is Adam Kaye. Adam is a senior in Westfield High School (a school that sucks). He plays guitar and is the backup vocals to Joe. As of now, Adam is in his own band called Nova as their drummer. They havent played any concerts yet but they are working on a demo this summer. (joe has told me that adam's band name has changed. ill let u know what it is later on.)We'll keep you posted.
Jon Calvert (also known as Calvie) is the bassist of the group. That's pretty much it. Oh yeah he also has graduated along with me and Joe and is going to Kean this fall. He wrote W-5.
Ahh last we have Vic Pinho, the drummer. I think he's a junior and in the Magnet school as of now. Supposedly Vic has been playing since he was five...supposedly.
Rob Chernella and Kam Kobeissi deserve recognition for their efforts on the song Halloween during the last show. Rob played saxaphone and Kam provided additional vocals.
Dave Ralph and Brian Stupak also performed at the last show to Limp Bizket's "Faith" they too deserve recognition.

Well that's the band. Other people who deserve recognition are: Minnie Kobeissi- the Commercial Blackout fan club president.
Norris Brown and Edwin Fladger - who provided many a time of loyal bouncing and security for the group.
Bill McMeekan- Who recorded Commercial Blackout's cd on New Year's Eve and videotaped the band at Radical Rock at WHS.
Last of all the loyal fans who came out to support the band during their shows.
If I forgot anybody send an E mail so that I may include you.
I still have a copy of the vewry last show in Joe's Basement, send an E Mail if you wand a copy of it.
