Ami
Ami [Ah-me]...What is it about her? She is the smartest of all the Sailor Soldiers. She is quiet and very nice. I've heard that she is Japan's favorite Senshi because she is such a good student (knowledge is very respected in Japan and her IQ is said to be 300). Amy is the first of the senshi to become a Sailor Soldier again in present day Tokyo(Serena was not a senshi in the Silver Millenium). She is also the Princess of Mercury. Her Japanese name is Mizuno Ami(last name first) which can mean Friend of Water or Asian Beauty of Water. Ami's birthday is September 10th. She lives in an apartment with her mother who is a docter. Her dream is to become a doctor also.
Sailor Mercury
Ami first transformed in Sailor Mercury in Episode 8 of Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon: Tensai shoujoha youma nano? Kyoufuno sennoujuku(Is the genius girl a youma? The scary brain-washing cram school)or Episode 5: Computer School Blues of the DiC version of Sailor Moon. Luna was getting vibes from Ami so she and usagi had been spying trying to figure out if she was a youma from the Nega Verse or another Sailor Senshi. They got a computer disk from Amy when she accidenlty dropped it on her way to cram school. When they looked at what was on the disk they found a brainwashing program so of course they were suspicious. They followed Ami into her Cram school and it turns out that the disk was not made by Ami. The real youma, Ami's teacher, had given the disks out to the students to brainwash them and steal energy for Queen Beryl. After Sailor Moon appeared and did her little speech the youma grabbed Ami and started stealing energy from her. The Mercury sign suddenly appeard on Amy's forehead and Luna knew that Ami was indeed, Sailor Mercury. She threw amy her Transformation pen and with the words "Mercury Power(Make-up!)" Ami transformed into the beautiful Sailor Suited Soldier of Mercury.
