America Remembered
September 11, 2001
September 11, 2001 thousands of innocent people
woke to what they all thought was another normal
work day. They all kissed their loved ones and said
I love you I will see you after work.
Little did they know that it would be the last time
they would ever see their loved ones and say those
words to them or the last time they would hug and kiss them.
Not long after they arrived at work it all ended,
America was attacked by terrorists and thousands
of lives were horrifically and viciously taken
by this awful attack on
America.
Now we are supposed to move on and
try to put our lives back together,
but how do you move on from such a tragedy?
How do you say good-bye to yesterday?
How are the families, friends, and loved ones
supposed to move on when their lives have just been shattered?
How are we supposed to close our eyes at night
when there are so many fears and so many tears?
It is something we all must do
but it's gonna be a hard thing to do.
My Prayer For America
To all the victims, families, friends and loved ones of the victims.
I pray that God will comfort you in your time of need.
To all the firemen, police, EMT's, ambulances, doctors,
nurses and all emergency and medical personnel involved.
I say thank you to you all. Thank you for all that you
have done and continue to do to help in this tragedy.
I say may God bless you and protect you all.
To all of the American people everywhere I pray that as a
nation we all stand together and be proud to be Americans.
I pray that there will be world peace someday and
that there will be no more terrorism in the world.
I pray that there will be no more lives taken by terrorism and wars.
I pray for the children left behind by those who died that
they may grow to love and not hate as a result of this horrible terror
and that they may be able to move on and try to live a normal life.
I pray that everyone in America will continue to love one another and
that they may let go of any hate and anger they may have.
I pray to God that he will hear my prayers
and send his angels to watch over all of America.
