Hello all and welcome. My name is Alicia and I am currently enrolled in Mary Washington College, in Virginia. I am, however,originally from northern New
Jersey! (that's right I'm a Jersey Girl, and it doesn't get any sweetier than that) I am a sophmore
and I still have no idea as to what to major in!?! Although I am probably just going to do Business. But I do hope to have concentrations in Music and Math,
but I still am very unsure. One day I'd like to work in the music business world. Although I have no idea what that entails, I do know that I LOVE music.
Much of my time is spent listening to some of my favorite artists. Artists like Paula Cole, The Beatles, Guster,
Rusted Root, Peter Gabriel, Dave Matthews, Allman Brothers Band, Simon & Garfunkel, Phish, and Tori Amos .
I am also very fond of unsigned artists like Granian, Ominous Seapods, and K Rising. I discovered K Rising this
summer when surfing the net. I have their CD with all of five songs, but I am completely in love! If you have
agreed with my taste of music so far, definately check them out, you will not be upset! krising.com
If I'm not listening to music, eating or sleeping I am generally watching the tube. Although movies do not move me the same
way music does, I still enjoy it a great deal. I am very fond of John Cusack, Gwenylth Paltrow, Morgan Freeman, and Kevin Spacey
(thanks to my friend Sam, who talked endlessly this summer about how phemonenal he was that I began to truly admire him).
In addition, I LOVE Kevin Smith and Spike Lee films. I have yet to see one where I was disappointed.
