AN ARCHITECT'S DILEMMA :
What Should I Build On?

This is a collaborative project that will attempt to determine which type of material will transmit seismic waves most effectively.  Each school will be doing a series of experiments to test the materials.  All data from the experiment will be pooled to draw conclusions.  The project will conclude with a building contest upon the material found to transmit seismic waves most effectively.
