I saw him in concert on Weds. at the Garden in NYC. My man was
on-point. Sounded great, looked great, he cried, and laughed. "Si Te Vas" is
probably word by word exact on how I felt when my ex-girl friend dumped me. The
song helped made me appreciate my wife more. Because she came to me at a point
in my life where I needed someone. And also the song reminds me of how it feels

hi, my name is cristina marisela. this is the first time i've
visited this web page, but i love how diverse you set up the page- and all the
different pics you have... where'd you find them all? i read tatiana and
heather's accounts of what happened to them when they tried to track down
premier standing and a moment of marc's tiempo. let me tell you, i know eXaCtLy
how you guys felt. this past summer, i was at the good morning america show. a
few days before, i had gone to the roseland show(the album preview performance)
all by myself, b/c all i could get was one ticket. amazingly, the show sold out
right after i bought one ticket at ticketmaster. so, i went to the concert all
by myself. it was fun, and Marc was awesome(as usual), but the fact that i was
alone wasn't all that great. so, at the good morning america show, i made up for
it. i brought my best friend Leo, and my sister,!
Irene. while on line at 4 in the friggin' morning, we met other Marc fanatics
on line- this cool lady named Carmen, whom i'm still friends with, this other
guy who came all the way from delaware to videotape the performance for his
sister, this lady named Maria, and ner niece. all these people were out there
with us at 4 in the morning, but it was like it was afternoon time, we were all
so hyped up! did you guys go to this show? when i was reading your story,
tatiana, i heard about a doll, well there was this girl at the show that had a
Marc Anthony doll. was that you?? well, if it was, you might know who i am. let
me tell you my moment at that concert. i went to las vegas in july, and while i
was there i picked up this lighter that i found at a souvenir shop. it wasn't an
expensive thing, but when i immediately saw it, i was like, it would be so cool
to give this to him. it was a small, white plastic lighter that said "made for
marc", and it had a small skyline of las vegas !
as well as the towns name. when i returned home, i told everyone how this
present was going to get right into Marc's hand. "he's gonna put this in his
pocket", i would say. well, while we were parked outside of central park before
the concert, i had attached a little note on the back of the lighter that told
of my appreciation of him as a fan. nothing flaky or obsessive, the note was
sweet and respectful. so, at the concert, i was pheenin' to give him the
lighter. but, before the concert, the producers were madd mean, and were telling
us that we had to behave and shit or we were gonna get thrown out. so, everybody
in the crowd was afraid to give Marc anything, like flowers or teddy bears. me,
i had bought for him a dozen yellow roses(yellow for friendship), but they were
wilting on the floor with all the heat. oh, i forgot this part: since we had
gotten there at 4 in the moorning , we were ALLL THE WAY IN THE FRONT! Right In
Front Of His Microphone. ok, well...i got kinda tire!
d of waiting, and a little pissed off that the producers were so strict. so,
right when they were about to come back from commercial, (right before marc was
to sing "you sang to me"), i pitched a yellow rose up on stage. he stopped,
picked up the rose, kissed it, he looked dead at me, and blew me a kiss and
thanks. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!! i turned and asked him if he wanted the rest,
and he says "sure". he looks at me like to say hurry. so i go and snatch up the
other 11 roses and the lighter and hand them to him. while taking them from me,
he almost dropped the lighter, so i put it right in his hand, and told him "this
is for you". he takes the flowers, blows me another kiss, and tells me thank you
again. he's about to put down the flowers, when he notices the lighter, and
looks at it. he sees that it says marc on it, and he turns around and looks at
me again. by this time, i was ballistic. HE STARTED READING IT!!! right when
they're about to come back from commercial break!!
! me, i was almost on the floor, girls. i mean, i was almost screaming my culo
off. he was gonna put it away, i was like "put it in your pocket!! it's for
You!!", and he goes and puts it in his pocket. when i tell you i was buggin' out
at this point, its an understatement. LOLOLOLLOLO... i was on the floor crackin'
up...LOLOLLOLOLOLOLO i couldn't help it! i couldn't believe he had actually
pocketed it when i had been saying for months i would get him to do just that.
well, the story doesn't end there. after the concert, he goes and takes some
media pics and stuff, but some fans are still waiting around, hoping he'll come
back and acknowledge us, and of course, he does. i was hoping i could get my
Urban Latino Mag. signed, and the People en Espanol too, so i wanted to get to
the front. well, while everyone was running back & forth trying to get to the
front, we were all standing in the back. mind you, right before we got to meet
him, my sister had been trying to force us to l!
eave b/c she had been up already for about 28 hours straight. well, b/c of this,
we were all the way at the back of the crowd, near the back barricades, just
leaning up against them. it was then that we noticed the crowd was heading this
way. it ended up that he came to sign right in front of us. i got both magazines
signed, my sister got her marc shirt signed, carmen got her marc shirt signed,
and after i tell him that i was the one who gave him the lighter. he gets this
SMILE on his face and GIVES ME A HUG & KISS... i couldn't believe it. but the
weirdest thing is, i wasn't buggin' out when i was speaking to him... i talked
to him like i would speak to anyone else. then, i asked him if i could get a pic
with all of us, which i'll send to you under that hotmail address. he says of
course, and his big bodyguard was the one that took the picture. you know, the
guard that looks like he can beat you with just his arm if he felt like it.
LOLOLOLLOLOLO... so, after we got the autog!
raphs, and the pic, there's all these people that still haven't even gotten to
the front, so i say to my sister, "come on. let's back out so other people can
get up to the front." as we're pulling out of the crowd, i hear Marc say "you
see, that's my kinda people". well, after all this, plus a compliment from Marc,
you can imagine how we were. FLIPPIN' THE FUCK OUT right there in front of the
fountain. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOOL!!! it was so much fun. and i made new friends, b/c
Carmen and i still talk, and we also went to the Hammerstein Ballroom concert
together. i'll never forget that good moring america concert though,... the
generosity i received from marc, and the atmosphere of the concert, the love of
the crowd, the elation i felt that day. i'm going to the concert on the 10th ,
try to get myself on HBO. LOLOLOLOLOLOL... some True*Fans better be there that
night, and represent for Marc on big time tv!well, i hope you liked the story.

ok , well my day started out getting up at 8 in the morning on friday. i went to pick up my check and caught a bus to NY.
I met Melinda, Tatiana , and Andrea in front of the Hotel New Yorker,a place where me and Tat sat for 4 hrs on oct 3rd becuase the security guys at hammerstien ballroom told us that we would meet Marc..........bullshit!!!(by the way)
we knew that Marc would be coming in the back door around the block, so we stood on the corner. it was freezing, rainy and misereable, not to mention how frizzy my hair was. lol
Tat and Andrea were at hammerstien ballroom since 4am. Me and Mel , at 11am cuz we didnt have tix, we couldnt afford 'em. The four of us stood on the corner of 35th and 8th ave for like an hour. then Tat and Andrea went back on line cuz they heard that Marc was gonna come at 2:15. But me and Mel still stood there.
around 2:15, Tat came around the back. a bunch of teenagers were going to the stage door. so we followed them. we waited and some loudmouth kid was showin us his pics with like every celebrity in the world. lol. then a few hours later actually, maybe an hour, Britney Spears came. she gave everybody this look and walked in side with out even waving or anything. i dont like her anyways.
so when britney came out, this other girl who was waiting with us yelled "sillicon" really loud and britney turned around really fast and looked insulted. lol that was funny as hell. we kept waiting in the rain . later Marc's band came in a white van. so we were gettin all excited and stuff. about 20 min later, Marc came. We all got our cameras out and when he got out , we tried to snap some pics of him but there were too many guards in the way.
and that was it..........we were disapointed cuz we waited so long to see him and all those damn guards blocked our view. Melinda was really pissed. She usually gets to talk to Marc, but for me, since i never really talked to him , it was the same, i saw him , and now he's gone =(
so Tat went back on the line and me and Melinda went up to her house . i had to cash my check at this point cuz i was FLAT BROKE
so we went to Mel's house,saw the bird and cashed my check. we went to mc donalds and met another Marc fan. She was tellin us how much she loved him and stuff like that.
so we decided to go back down town to wait for marc to come out. we werent gonna do it before.
Mel bought me this magazine with Marc on the cover. so i paid her back for it. i hoped that if i could get close enough to him, that he would sign it.
So we went to the back door again. there was a small crowd. the first one to leave was Jennifer Lopez. she was really nice, she signed autographs and stuff. but Tatiana had my camera so i couldnt take a picture. Then I saw Britney again, then Cristina Aguilera. and Brian Mc night, Jose Feliciano, and Vitamin C.
AS we were waiting, Marc's body guard , Carlos recognized Melinda. she told him that we wanted to give him flowers and he told the other guy " make sure when Marc comes out that he gets these flowers"
he let us stand RIGHT up against Marc's van. so we couldnt miss him this time!!!
We saw Marc's band leave, then his back up singers, so we figured that Marc would be comin out soon, it was a while but finally he came out. i was SO nervous cuz he had to come by us. So Marc signed these autographs for these two little girls and then he bumped in to Melinda.....literally! lol
She said something to him that i dont know cuz i was too nervous and i was just staring at him, thinking of what to say to him.
i never met him before besides the time he spoke to me for 2 seconds at TRL and touched my hand.
I had no idea what i should say. He is my idol. My favorite singer of all time. i didnt wanna sound like an idiot.
so as i was thinking of something to say. Marc gave Mel a hug.and then she introduced me.........She said " this is my friend Heather" and i almost went into shock. my knees were shaking at this point...only a little, not too much. So Marc holds out his hand and i thought to myself " damnit...only a handshake?"
I was wearing gloves too so i couldnt even feel his hand. So took his hand expecting only a handshake and then he came closer and gave me a kiss on the cheek =) so i kissed him on the cheek too,knowing that this could be my ONLY chance!!! then Marc said "Your're Heather?!" i'm not sure if that ment that he knows my name from the message board or what but that's what melinda said. so i'd like to think of it that way.
Then Melinda asked him to sign things for other people. He was about to walk away when Melinda grabbed my magazine and asked Marc to sign it. He did. and he made it out to ME!!! =)
all my other autographs just say Love Marc Anthony '99.
Then he gave me another kiss !!
the whole time , not a single intelligent comment came outta my mouth. At TRL, i said " i love you Marc" and that's it. i promised myself that if i EVER got another chance to talk to him i would say something else.
so of course what did i say when i saw him?
" oh my god!!!! I love you SO much!!!! oh my god, oh my god oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
and then when he signed the magazine....
"thank you SOOOOOOOOO much Marc !!! oh my god I love you!!"
as you can see, my mind kinda went blank. there's so many things i want to ask him and tell him but all that came out was that. LOL
then Marc got into the van and left. now i cracked.....
i was almost crying, i was so happy!!! i had to fight back the tears cuz i didnt want my mascara to run. lol. i was also laughing. i thanked Mel over and over and over etc. for letting me meet him. then we walked back to the hotel to wait for tatiana and andrea to come out of the concert. we sat in the lounge in the bathroom and talked about what happened. i was saying " i cant believe it . i just met Marc Anthony!!! and he kissed me TWICE!!!!"so i was sittin' there and i couldnt stop smiling. lol
later on , we tried to call people. Mel called Aurea and i called my best friend Samantha. Samantha wasnt home so i just chilled with Mel while she told Aurea what happened. I was still still smiling. then we went upstairs and went to the entrance of hammerstien ballroom to find Tat and Andrea. So some people are starting to come out......while Britney Spears was singing. how insulting. lol. We were looking for TAt and Andrea when all of a sudden guess who comes out the door??the guy that me and Tat ALWAYS run into whenever we go to new york................
Johnny!!!! We kinda expected to see him. we always do. So we were chillin' with Johnny for a while and we showed him my autograph and stuff like that. Mel asked Johnny for the Capeman hat. finally!
Johnny told us that Tat saw him while she was on line and she was screamin his name. lol. that's Tat! Anyway, Johnny had to go party
(lucky)after all, it was a friday night. so we said goodbye and kept waiting for Tat and Andrea. We went back to the hotel and sat down for a while. then went back to the ballroom, still no Tat and Andrea. i paged them on my cell phone and waited some more. by now it was 12:30 and i needed to catch the 1AM bus to NJ
so we walked around the block one last time , and we couldnt find them. so we went to burger king and i went home.
on the bus home i was smiling the whole way home . to make it worse, the lights were on, in the damn bus so people could SEE me smiling. i tried not to , so they wouldnt think i was a loquita. but i couldnt' help it. i just met my idol!!!!!!!!!!
how could i not smile???
i got off the bus and walked home through the dark ass streets .......still smiling and thinking how it was possible. I could never get anywhere NEAR Marc before . And now after 6 years......finally..........i got to meet him!!!!!
I will always remember this day as a milestone in my life!
I saw so many celebrities that day....Jennifer Lopez, Cristina Aguilera, Vitamin C,Jose Feliciano, Brian Mc night, the BArrio boyzz, but none of it mattered. All that mattered was Marc.
After all the appearences i went to hoping to catch a glimpse of him, my day finally came.
ONLY FOR MARC would i go to NY after 3hrs sleep
ONLY FOR MARC would i stand in the rain for 5 hours freezing my ass off.
and
ONLY FOR MARC would i wait another hour in the even more freezing cold, and wind to give him flowers.
I hope he read the card. =)

I've been to 2 Concerts at the Hammerstein Ballroom and one at Roseland, and realized that "General Admission" means your ass better get there early.... well.. LMAO, my friend and I JUMPED on the 3am bus and got to NY by 4:30. Yup! That was me on the radio shoutin' and screamin! LOL! :)
Anyway, she was mad paranoid about takin' a subway to the place that early, so the chica starts speedwalkin down 42nd! I was like, CHILL GIRL! LOL! Especially since I was carryin' all the bags! So we had like 3 different cats yellin' the usual, "Hey yo shorty, hey girl, psst psst" all that wonderful jazz. (roll eyes!) LOL! Sooooo finally we get there, freeeeeezing cold, and the place is EMPTY! They had the crew takin' out some stuff from the concert before and they kept askin' us if we were ok and we're like yea. Finally this dude came up to me, (one of the crew members who was indeed a hottie!) lol! N-e way, he was like, "did ya'll run away from home?" and we're like no. "Are you waitin' for someone?" I was like, yea, he was like, oh your man is in there? LOL! I was like, nah he should be here soon tho-, lol, he was like, "Oh, what's his name" and i was like Marc Anthony. He started laughin' and looked at me like I was crazy and said, "i guess ya'll jus' wanna be in the front huh?" LOL! It was funny, so it's like 5am now and I throw my headphones on and start singing' hasta que te conoci. We made friends with these other boricua dudes who were part of the clean up crew and then we decided to go to Penn St. to go potty before a crowd got there. So we come back, and no one is there, so we were gonna go in the New Yorker thingy for breakfast, but get this, EIGHT BUCKS FOR A DAMN BAGEL!!!!!!!! LOL! SO we got some cocoa on the st. for 50 cents. LOL! By the time we get back, there was someone in line. This guy was rEALLY REALLY WeirD YA"LL! Oh my god. He didn't even have a ticket!!!!!!!! He wanted to be first, and then at lunch time go get his check and cash it and be able to come back and still be first in line and find a scalper. So we're like, "whatever". LOL!
So we're sittin' there on our "beauty and the beast blanky" w/mad peeps lookin' at us like we're homeless. Finally around 8am another more sainer individual comes up and sits down. He was cool, he was really there to see Cristina but we were killin' him w/stories bout Marc so he turned into a fan instantly! LOL!
Sooooooooooo after a fight with a bum, and after another bum tapped my friend on the knee and said, "don't worry everything is gonna get better in life, jus hang in there" LMAO, Melinda showed up!!!!! IT was now like 11 am and there were also these two other girls who were there for Marc, they were nice. So then the radio people asked one of us to talk to them, so i got on their celly and was screamin' I CAME ALL THE WAY FROM NJ AT 4am JUST TO SEE MARC ANTHONY. The guy on the other end acted dumb and said, "WHO?" SO WE ALL SCReAMED MARC ANTHONY!!!!!!!!!! LOL! So our new friend (the cool one) Jimmy, was savin' our spots and we went around front to meet Heather. Soo she shows up and we decide to on a longgggggggg wait for Marc to arrive. Ok ya'll read what happened there in Heather's story bout durin' the day.
Soooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!! Around 6:30 I go back around to my friend and Jimmy and now the line had gotten alot longer. So everyone is soaked but still excited. So all of a sudden I look up and I seen a black hat, coming towards me. LOL! I looked closer and it was BIGRAM! (Marc's bro). I've only seen him once before when Heather and I ran into Johnny a LONG TIME ago, at least I think that was him. It was the night of Marc's party at el flamingo. N-e way, he was literally 2 feet away from me, so I said all casually, "Hey Bigram". LOL! He stopped, and looked at me for like 3 mintues and finally said, "Ohhhhhhhhh hey!!!!! How ya doin" LOL! It was really funny. I was like, "good yourself?" He was like, "ok" and he kept lookin' then he was like, "well maybe i'll see u in there!" I think he thought I was loca. LOL! So like 10 mins. later, farther away, I seen Johnny, so I got outta line and stepped in front of the crowd and said, "hey JOHNNY!" lol, and he looked and said, "hey!!!!" and put up one finger as in "hold on" so I go back in line, and those chicas we met were like "Oh my god is that who you've been talkin' bout all day?" LMAO! I was like yuppers! :o)
Soo. Santa comes out and then the Ktu guy goes, "hey u wanna get them revved up? And they say ok u can go in. So the crowd pushes and then the hammerstein people started screamin' at us. I sware i thought a rumble was gonna start. So everyone had to back up, and people started shoutin' Z-100, Z-100, Z-100 cuz KTU was already 10 minutes late and it was cold an wet and jus' ugh!!!! So I start shoutin' "LA ME-GA LA ME-GA" lol. Then it switched to "LET US IN LET US IN" well, 20 mins. later they did!!!!!!!!
My shoes came off and we started RUNNING! I was sooooo pissed cuz there was already a group of people crowed right in the middle of the stage. So Jimmy pushed one by accident so I could get in, and a mother goes, "Excuse me, can't u see us here" and Jimmy said "i've been here since 8am" and she said, "i've been here since before then", so I was so hyped, lol, i go "u lyin' bitch i was here at 4 am, now what?" And she gave me the dirtiest look and left! LOL! :-) SO we were all (Jimmy, my friend Andrea and I) in a line right in the middle able to lean against the thingy.
Ok, first out........
EL BARRIO BOYZ!!!!!!! OH MY GOD!!! They were EXCELLENT! Not everyone knew who they were though.. And the one, was starin' me down! It was funny cuz the dude next to me was even like, "wow he's diggin' you" lol, I was likke I know! I think we have got the best seats!" LOL! It was funny, he even waved to me and blew me a kissy when he was leavin'! LOL!
Next.... up, LOU BEGA!
He was cool, he kept givin' me and my friend freaky faces like his eyes would get real big and he'd stick his tongue out at us.
Next was Jenny Lopez..
She was really good I enjoyed it alot, plus her one dancer is extrememly gorgeous!
And next was that silly chic who sings, "mambo italiano". I was too busy watchin' Marc's band set up tho... cuz next was MARC!!
He came out singing "That's Okay".. The crowd loved it!!!!!! The photographers were all dancin' and jumpin' around. He was great! The one singer (w/the red hair) had cut her hair real short. Next he sang, "When I dream at night". OH MY! He hit and held every single last note in that song and even added some "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhOOOOOOOOoooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhOOooooo" lol. Durin' that song i said to my friend, "i'm gonna throw him the dog" and she said, "oh my god, u're gonna give him your doll?" (i'm sure ya'll seen my marc doll that he signed before!) so i was like, noooooooooo the DOG i bought him.
See, I went to taco bell a few weeks ago and picked up one of those stuffed taco dogs. It has a microphone in front of him and he sings "chances are cuz i wear a silly grin the moment u come into viewwwwww" lol, and IN NO RACIAL WAY OR NUTtin" but it reminded me of Marc cuz of the microphone. But i didn't want him to take offense. SO anyway, I left it in the package and decided to throw it as soon as they started the "IN2K" beat.
He looked at it really funky, then picked it up. LOL! (I have this all in pics but my scanner doesn't seem to be workin') :o( So Marc ripped the package open, and started laughin'!!!! He threw the wrapper on the ground and said, "oh look, you know what it says right?, I betcha it says "yo quiero taco bell" then he started smilin' again and started singin' they say around the way u've asked for me! LOL! He set the dog up all nicely in back of him, and continued singing. Then he was done and ran halfway off stage, but turned around and grabbed the dog!!!!!!!! :-) I WAS SOOOOOOO Excited cuz he actually came back for the dog, ya know? LOL! I've got sooooo many pics ya'll, next time i'm here i'm gonna have to try and fix my scanner. :o(
Everyone else was good, even Britney! Cristina kept messin' up cuz her cd kept skippin' , lol, but she was still good! :)

it all started with tatiana's message on the board. she said her father bought her ricky martin tickets (confusing ricky with marc)so she wrote on the board that she wanted to go to NY to scalp the tickets. So i replied saying i'd go with her if she was gonna see ricky. i was off on friday.
she called me the next day and said " wanna go? but not to see ricky , i wanna scalp the tix"
so i was like "ok i have nothing else to do,"
my heart wasn't gonna break if i couldnt see ricky. we were just gonna hang out and visit a few "locations " in ny to look for people. lol
anyway so that day-friday-i was waiting for tat to call me. i fell asleep during the yankee parade.i was so tired. then the phone rang. it was the phone company asking if the payer of the bill, which would be my dad, was aware that there were a large number of long distance calls being made from the phone. uh oh!
so i said um he's not here right now and hung up. lol
then it was like three pm and i was wondering where tat was. so i paged her. she called me back a few minutes later and told me she was on her way.
i met her an hour and a half later. i was getting ready and i left the house half an hour late. lol i was like " shit. i hope she's not there yet! i'm so f@#$#$^$%^ late!"
Luckally, she wasn't there. so i sat on a shopping cart. yes a shopping cart and talked to this guy that was there. then tat came.we drove to the bus terminal, and she put all her shit in my bag along with all my shit. and we left.
the bus we took decided to take a LONG ass detour through hoboken, jersey city and god knows where else.
FINALLY we got to NY. we went to MSG and tried to scalp the tix, unfortunatly, there were just too many damn cops everywhere.
as we walked by, a girl says " mom, look at that girls shirt. it's ricky martin"
Tat was wearing her marc shirt. so i screamed " it's Marc Anthony!!" So we walked into madison sq. garden and looked around at all the things they were sellin for ridiculous prices and we felt suspicious cus everyone was lookin at us. there were so many security people around we couldnt scalp the tickets. i did ask a few people though. then we left the garden and went outside to walk around again. we saw the z 100 van outside with some kid working that looks like he was 15 or something teasing the audience.we stood there for awhile and then left. we walked around msg again. then we got pizza. it was now almost 8pm and the concert was gonna start at 8. so we got pizza at sbarros and went downstairs to the subway level dining area. we ate and we saw a guy who was at the last few marc concerts. some big fat dude. so we ate and went upstairs. i had to go to the bathroom so i was waiting on the long ass line. and i was complainin to the lady behind me that the lady in the bathroom was problably doing her make up and that she should hurry the f#$& up. lol.
so as i'm waiting on line. a guy who looks like Johnny walks by me. but the only thing was, his skin was too dark. where have we head THAT before? lol. so i go in the bathroom and do MY make up. lol. then i go outside and tell tat that i saw a guy who looked like johnny,but it wasnt him. johnny always wears a hat and the marc anthony jacket. this guy wasnt.
So i was thinkin how weird it was to see a johnny lookalike
That was still in my mind while we were walking around the outside of madison sq. garden for the millionth time
all of a sudden, someone grabbed tat's arm.
it was johnny!!!!
tat didn't realize who it was right away cuz she was just starin' at him like he was some psycho.lol.
i screamed "oh, my god!!!!!"
i really couln't believe johnny was there. you guys have NO idea what was going through my mind. i mean, i did just see a look alike not 5 minutes before.
So I was standing there trying to understand why we kept running into johnny. it happened twice before. he gave tat a hug and a kiss. ( awwww)=)
then i said "i dont' know if you remember me, but i'm heather. the one who always e mails you about the chatroom "
then he said " of course i remember you!" So he came over to me and gave me a hug and a kiss too! =)
Johnny is such a sweetheart! really!
so we were talking to johnny for about 5 min.and then he had to go. he said he'd be right back so we waited a while wondering why he was gonna come back. so we waited and waited and waited and finally we left. we had to find our seats it was almost 8:30.
we looked for johnny one last time before we went in. i felt guilty if johnny came back and we werent' there. So we went in. and went up the escalator singing "Da la vuelta" lol. yes i know it was a Ricky concert but we were so excited that we saw johnny.
so we got in. and it was so dark. we couldnt find our seats. finally we found the row but there was some lady in our seats. so some girl made her move and we sat down. and waited and waited and waited. ricky is like marc in one way that they are always late. lol. the concert was supposed to start at 8 but it started five minutes to 9.
Ricky looked good though in his tight leather pants. lol. from where we were sitting, we got the back view =) he he he
but some of them dancin' hoochies he had...i dont' know what street corner or strip club he found them at but they was nasty! lol. so the show was good. lots o' special effects too. so then after the concert we decided to look for johnny again.lol don't ask me why . i guess we though he might wanna talk to us or something. so we looked for him and we couldnt' find him =(
he was probably at the afterparty i bet.
tat thought she saw johnny waving at us from a car or truck i should say, but i didn't see it. so i don't know. i'd think if it WAS johnny, that he'd yell out the window or something. lol. oh by the way, did i mention that johnny was wearing a marc anthony hat and jacket?! well he was! lol
so then we HAD to call melinda and tell her what happened. so we were on the payphone and me and tat talked to mel. she started playin hasta que te conoci...and remember that marc said he was in front of madison sq. garden when he heard that song and he ran to a pay phone to call his agent. well, we imagined we were at the payphone he used. lol. ok so were crazy yeah, but we had a great time. after we talked to mel, we walked downtown then walked back uptown,then jumped on the subway, and to port authourity. we waited for the bus and we had to reinact the johnny meeting. lmao! then we got on the bus and went home to jersey. all we talked about was how we met up with johnny and wondering if he came back. i just had to know. i said i'd e mail him when i got home to find out if he came back.
iwas so shocked that johnny remembered me. he gave me a hug and kiss and everything. he is just SO sweet. i'm glad i got to meet johnny! keep in mind me and tat have run into johnny in numerous places . places where there was crowds of people or on a nyc street. why do we keep bumpin' in to johnny? i don't know. it's so weird. but like i said, i'm not complainin'!lol
we never really got to talk to johnny for more than 5 or 6 minutes. one day maybe we can talk to him longer.
ok well that's the end of the story. sorry about all the babblin' about johnny. but it's just SO weird and i just wanna know how it's possible to run into the same person over and over in crowded places.

Aight, well it all started back when...I was 16 totally in love and
broken hearted at the same time (like most teenagers) Marc sang everything I was
feeling. I fell in love with him then!
Since then he has captured me (and so many others) with his remarkable voice and
overwhelming feelings through his music.
I have always taken pride in saying I am Puerto Rican but even more so because
of Marc. He represents us and does a wonderful job at it.
Marc has made me look at my life very differently. As I said before I was
always proud of my nationality but I never listened to Spanish music enough to
relate nor enjoy it. I was never interested in learning about my heritage until
he displayed such pride for it. He made me realize that it's one thing to say
you are proud of who you are and another thing to actually BE proud!
Another reason that Marc is such an important part of MY
life is because, I have
always wanted to become a singer and I had tried many times but we all know how
hard it is to make it in the music industry, therefore I had pretty much given
up for a long period of time, but because of the feelings I feel when Marc sings
how much PASSION he brings forth through his performances I know that I cannot
give up on that dream. So WHEN I make it big I'll owe it all to him, for
giving me the inspiration to do what I am doing.
Not only is this man GORGEOUS AND TALENTED, he is truly an inspiration. And if
he doesn't marry me he only has one other choice which is to make a duet with me

Aight, well it all started back when...I was going to visit my cousin in
Rochester over a long weekend and she begged me to purchase his spankin' new cd
"Todo A Su Tiempo". "Please, please, Damaris, see if you can find Marc
Anthony's new cd" she said. "Who the hell is Marc Anthony" I asked. "Are you
kiddin' me?" she said. "He's the best, girl, you gotta hear him." "What does
he sing" I asked. "Salsa"
Well, that was the answer right there. Me, listen to salsa, yuck! I mean it
was alright but I preferred merengue 10 times over. I could only listen to so
many salsa songs being played back to back. "Make the next one a merengue,
PLEASE!" I would yell to the deejays.
Anyway, I found the cd and I was happy to bring it to her until I saw her tear
off the plastic and fumble
for her cd player. "You're not going to make me
listen to that, are you" I whined. She laughed it off and said "You'll see."
She played the cd over and over and over and over and I tell you no one was more
glad that she did than me.
I ran back home to purchase "Todo A Su Tiempo" for myself and I picked up "La
Otra Nota" as well. I have a new appreciation for salsa and if I may make a
comparison to the paraphrase "Ricky Who", then I must have said "Tono Rosario
Who" after I listened to Marc. In fact, it pains me to hear merengue now back
to back. Salsa has such passion and meaning.
I grew up in New York and I was never much into my P.R. roots. It took Marc
Anthony to turn this puertoriquena around. Now I see, hear and breathe things
differently. My Puerto Rican side is more upfront than ever before and a
passion that I didn't know existed in me. Like him, I am proud to be Puerto
Rican as I am proud to be American.God bless you, Marc.

I was taking salsa lessons and began
dancing when I heard, "Hasta que te conoci.....". His voice and the rythm to the
music made me feel all tingly inside. Then he FINALLY came to perform at a local
nightclub called Bravo Bravo in D.C. ,He touched my hand, thats when I became
obsessed with him. He is AWESOME live. Anyway he stayed at the Four Seasons in
Georgetown and my friend worked the front desk there ,and my dad owns a
restaurant across the street from that hotel. So staking out wasn' t a problem
for me. I only got to see him get into his car ,but it was soooo worth it. I
would do it all again. My stupid friend Edwin said that he had lunch with
him(personally I think he's lying) because if I new I was gonna have lunch with
Marc Anthony I would bring a video camera and a regular camera to show the
world.Mostly all of his songs have had some kind of meaning to my life at some
point. He just has this "AWE" to him that always gives me!

Aight, well it all started back when...i heard a song on lamega 97.9 stuck in
traffic. i was floored by it and this was abiut six years ago. ive been hooked
on that voice since day one. i was on the highway in miami one night at 4:30 in
the am coming from the hospital cuz my friend fainted in a salsa club. marc was
in a rolls royce right next tous with bodyguards. i was practically out of the
window of that cab and they lost us cuz they thought i was psycho. then at the
concert in atlantic city this past may i tried to jump on stage but the bouncers
kept pushing me away.im psycho. im not even spanish. i just love latin music

Aight, well it all started back when...I saw him perform at The Country Club,
an old NYC club. I had heard his voice on the radio many times and was very
compelled but when I saw him perform on stage, my neck hairs stood on end. How
could it be that a man so small could produce such a strong voice!?!?!? Well
ever since then, I've been a devoted fan. I got my butt up at 4:45 in the
morning just to see him perform live at Central Park. And by myself!! And I
took a personal day from work just for that. I'm going to see him perform at
Manhattan Center on Oct. 3rd and I also took a sick day off from work just to go
to his album release signing on Tuesday, the 28th.
You CAN NOT ignore Marc even if you wanted to! This man's voice gets to you.
His whole aura is very energetic. He grabs you like a pair of big, strong arms
and hugs you. It does not matter how much you fight, cry, or scream for
freedom. He holds you until you surrender and then when you do,.......... he
takes your heart into his hands. And kisses it! *s*
