The Quick Change Tooling System is a complete, cost-effective system designed for milling machines with an R-8 spindle.
With the Quick Change Tooling System, tool changes can be made in seconds, reducing the time machinists spend on every tool change and improving their overall efficiency and productivity.
Insert a tool holder into the patented locking mechanism and then simply lift and then release the quill handle.
No hammers, wrenches or aggravation!
The system locks on a pull stud located at the end of each tool holder.
Since this is a mechanical system, tool changing is quiet, quick and easy as opposed to noisy air operated systems.
This system has fewer parts and none of them rotate like the air type systems when changing collets or tool holders.
You won't have to worry about cross-threading the drawbar and/or The tool holders.
You'll experience less wear and tear on your tool holders.
The system's special drawbar assembly replaces the milling machine's existing drawbar and installs directly into the R-8 spindle.
A preset die spring in the drawbar assembly ensures precise tool retention and maximum repeatability with every tool change.
System collets and tool holders last longer because the same amount of force is exerted on the tool holders with each and every tool change.
With this system you'll be able to retain tool length offsets when you change collets or tool holders.
Its constant gripping force holds the systems R-8 holders firmly in place without damaging them - ensuring longer life and maximum repeatability.

Because the Quick Change System utilizes the machine tools R-8 taper in the spindle it has the least amount of spindle nose projection; resulting in increased rigidity.
Unlike other "Adapter Type" Quick Change Tooling Systems, it can handle even the most heavy-duty milling projects.
Maintenance Free - You won't have to lubricate the system or perform scheduled maintenance because it doesn't use air or electricity or have any parts that rotate when you change tool holders.
