I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave on an afterglow of smiles when day is done. I'd like to leave an echo... whispering softly down the ways of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave behind when day is done.

Oliver A. Hoppach

(1926-1993)
My father was a good man. He was a police officer, fireman, first aid squad member, Naval Sailor, and so much more. He was extremely civic-minded and always there to help others. Many times throughout his life he put his own life on the line to save others, never stopping to consider the danger to himself. As a father, he was strict but fair. His children and peers learned by his example of being an honest, honorable man. He was deeply loved and truly missed.

Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears. But laugh and talk of me as though I were beside you. I loved you so... 'twas Heaven here with you.

Amelia L. Templeton

1898-2001

My grandmother was a wonderful soul. She never spoke ill of anyone. She always dressed in dresses, stockings, high-heels, hats and gloves. She was spiritual and open to learning of most religions. She was a pleasure to be with even at 103. She will be missed deeply by her children (3), grandchildren (8), great grandchildren (15), and great great grandchildren (8).

Weep but briefly for your loved ones as they enter into the Kingdom of God. For they shall possess a joy and peace that is unattainable on God's earthly realm. Rather, rejoice in their everlasting and total happiness... for their eyes have seen God.

HIS GARDEN

God looked around his Garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.

He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain. And knew that you would never get well on earth again.

He saw your path was difficult, he closed your tired eyes, He whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and gave you wings to fly.

When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain, We would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again.

You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide, You live on through your children, you're always by our side.

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you on the day God called you home.

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven there is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals that had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head; and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together…
