FRIENDSHIP
We met as just children at a birthday party. We grew up together. We've laughed and we've cried. We planned and we schemed and we even lied. We've been through so much together. We've been through falling in love, marriage and birth. We have shared nearly every emotion that life will allow, but none so painful as death.
You and I are as sisters, yet closer than that. I can't describe it, I just know its a fact. You're my sister, best friend and life-long companion.
Though we may not see each other as often as we did, and we may not speak as often as we wish, we both know that the other is there, that we care.
At this most sorrowful time in your life, I want to help you, wipe away all your strife. But I don't know how, maybe I'm not supposed to. Maybe I'm just supposed to listen and be there. I want to, I will, and you know that I care.
When your mother died, I felt your pain. I felt pain too. She was so much to me, but the world to you. I can hear her voice and picture her face as if I saw her just yesterday.
Then when you called to tell me your father had died, we were numb. We couldn't understand. We cried. I can hear your father and see him laughing, but this time I see him and your mother together, happy.
While on this earth they were married and loved, and had two wonderful daughters. They lauged and they cried, they fought and they screamed. They were humans, not flawless.
But now they're in Heaven with our Lord. They laugh, and they love and they dance and they sing, and do all sorts of wonderful, wonderful things. They are as one with God and suffer no more, whether from illness or broken hearts.
You and I, we're still humans, we still have our flaws. And try as we might, we will not be perfect until we are with God in the Heavens, where we too will laugh, love, dance and sing and do all sorts of marvelous things.
We are here for each other, through thick and through thin, just as we always have been. I don't know what I'm trying to say with this letter, I guess I just wanted you to know that I love you, and I would take your pain if I could.
Rejoice in the knowledge that your parents are happier right now than was ever possible on this earth. You will see them again as you remembered them in the happiest times of your life. One day we will all be together dancing at the feet of God in a paradise we can only begin to imagine.
But until that day comes, know that I'm here for you. For whenever, whatever, for no reason at all. I love you.
You're my sister, best friend, and life-long companion. We have been through nearly everything together. But the best memories are yet to happen. We We look back at the past and think, "Those were good times", but the best is yet to come for us.
As for your parents, we have our memories of them. I have some of the best, most happiest memories of my life growing up in your parents' home. We loved them, and that's were happy memories come from.... LOVE.
I love you and will always be here for you when you need me, and even when you don't need me. We have to grow old together so that there will always be someone there for both of us to laugh with, to cry with, to bitch and complain with, and just be with when we're old.
You and I are as sisters, yet closer than that. I can't describe it, I just know it's a fact. You're my sister, my best friend and life-long companion.

LONG TIME FRIEND
Our friendship is grounded in trust long unbroken, a force ever powerful, soft and unspoken.
The depth of our feelings, the warmth of our ways, bring freedom and honesty into our days.
Our friendship adds light to the shadows of living and shares the rich bounty and harvest of giving.
It lifts up our hearts on the wings of concern and lets equal kindness come back in return.
It tells us its story in memories pure and says through its past that our bond will endure.
It lets us remember and never forget the treasure fate sent long ago when we met.

It takes a long time to grow an old friend.

A good friend is hard to find, hard to lose, and impossible to forget.

Sometimes in life, you find a special friend;
Someone who changes your life just by being part of it;
Someone who makes you laugh until you can't stop;
Someone who makes you believe that there really is good in the world;
Someone who convices you that there really is an unlocked door just waiting for you to open it.
This is Forever Friendship.
When you're down, and the world seems dark and empty, your forever friend lifts you up in spirit and makes the dark and empty world suddenly seem bright and full.
Your forever friend gets you through the hard times, the sad times, and the confused times.
If you turn and walk away, your forever friend follows.
If you lose your way, your forever friend guides you and cheers you on.
Your forever friend holds your hand and tells you that everything is going to be okay.
And if you find such a friend, you feel happy and complete, because you need not worry, you have Forever Friend for life... forever has no end.

I've gone through some changes in my life lately, a series of endings and beginnings. As usual, you've been there to help me pick up the pieces along the way.
There are still times when I don't quite know where I'm going or how I will get there, but you've given me the courage and strength to move ahead.
Your encouragement has helped me feel everything will turn out okay after all.
I couldn't ask for any more understanding and support... I couldn't ask for anyone more loyal than you've been.
Thank you for being there for me.
