Agreement For Services
- Full price of the contract shall be paid in full 14 days prior to the event. In the event the disc jockey is or is not notified of cancellation within 90 days prior to the date of the event in writing, FULL PAYMENT IS DUE. Cancellation, for any circumstance, must be done in writing and will result in a loss of all payments received and will not be applied to other dates or agreements.
- In the event any OUTSIDE performances should be canceled due to inclement weather, no refund will be issued. The disc jockey reserves the right to CANCEL the event before or during outside performance due to changing weather conditions. No refund of any unused performance time. Any monies received are non-transferable to a new date, outstanding agreement or any other agreement.
- The customer shall provide sufficient space, tables, electrical outlets, and any other equipment as requested by the disc jockey. In the event the customer fails to provide same, the disc jockey shall not be liable for the lack thereof.
- In the event any of the disc jockey's audio or visual equipment, compact discs, records, cassette tapes, DVD’s, or lights shall be damaged or destroyed by the customer or any of the customer’s guests or agents, customer shall pay FULL cost of repair or replacement.
- The disc jockey has the right to end any performance prior to the contracted end time due to unruly and/or uncontrollable behavior by those in attendance, no refund of unused performance time.
- The named customer on this agreement is responsible for any liability coverage for the disc jockey as required by banquet facilities, restaurants, community centers, or private organizations. It is understood and agreed that the disc jockey shall have no liability for injury or damage that may occur during the performance. Customer hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the disc jockey from any liability for injury or damage. In the event, the disc jockey shall be named defendant in any suit arising out of such injury or damage, customer shall be responsible for all costs and expenses of said suit, including reasonable attorney fees.
- A NON-REFUNDABLE Deposit is required to hold the event date payable to Joe Sorrentino. DO NOT POST-DATE CHECKS, all checks deposited/cashed immediately. Any monies received will be considered deposit and are non-refundable. Contract is void if the deposit is not received by the due date. A new agreement will be completed, if date is still available, reflecting possible rate increases. If paying balance by Personal Check, payment MUST be received ten (14) days prior to event, no exceptions.
- Additional time past initial contract time provided at a rate of $125 per half hour when available.
- Joe Sorrentino reserves the right to designate another disc jockey to this event due circumstances that require his personal attention.
- This agreement represents the entire agreement of the parties and there exist no other representation, oral or written, between the said parties. Any changes to this agreement could result in cancellation and loss of deposit.
