Janice Lynne Cooper (nee Ogden) is my name.
I am a native of NJ but spent 10 of the best years of my life in Texas.Houston to be exact.
My heart belongs there still, although I am back in NJ for the past 3 years (very, very long boring story).

I am 45 (2/10/54). No kids and a nurse by profession.
I do not smoke, drink in excess or have patience or tolerance for nonsense.
I LOVE MUSIC! The greatest of all time, really too numerous to mention
but right there on top would be, Roy Orbison, George Jones, Pasty Cline, Marvin Gaye, Toni Bennett and Bobbie Darrin.

MY heart's pic's would be, Aretha Franklin (RESPECT), Don McLean (American Pie), James Taylor (Fire and Rain) & Bonnie Raitt (anything she has ever done.
I have been her #1 fan since 1977).

I am a big collector of "Bubble Fairie's","
Classic Pooh", Lenox china, Betsey Clark (Hallmark) and Michael Bedard lithograph's (I have 7 of his prints).

My favoreite TV program's, of all times are and in this order:
"All In the Family" (loving Archie dosen't make me a nut),
"Northern Exposure (this show is a sleeper that some day will get it's due)
and "Ally McBeal" (I identify, strongly, with the show's "quirkieness") And The Antiques RoadShow..

My favorite movie of all time: "It's A Wonderful Life"!
(I still remember exactly where I was when I first watched it 27 years ago!)

Most favorrite food? Anything spicy (put enough hot sauce on a turd and I call it a feast, j/k).
Favorite restaraunt: Atchafalyas (in Houston).
Favorite snack: nacho's, @ the "Pour House" (again in Houston).
Best crawfish: served @ the "Crab House" in Kemah, Texas.

Prettiest place on earth: The Hill Country in Texas (just south of San Antonio, Canyon Lake to be exact).
Best beach in the world: on Boliver's Island (30 minutes from Galveston on the ferry).

My webname is JerseyLilly.
Which has nothing to do with me living in NJ.
The name is from Texas history.
In the mid 1800's, Judge Roy Beam settled a small town, in SW Texas, on the Pecos River,
that he named Langtree, after the stage star of the day, Lilly Langtree.

He named his saloon, The JerseyLilly in her honor
. Although they had never met, he was madly in love with her.
She was from The Isle of Jersey, hense the saloon's name, The JerseyLilly.
I love that story and adopted the name for myself.

My dream vacation of all time is to go to Waterford, Ireland.
My dream in general is to hit the lottery!
(maybe it's time to wake up!)

I adore honesty and loyalty and
will have no part of gossip or backbiting
(which in general makes me a pretty lonely person).

I am not religious but I love God
and have a true understanding of being nothing without Him!
My personality is my humor.
My laugh is funnier than most of my jokes.

But my funniest stories, which I love telling, are the true one's
(and I have dozens of them).
