GETTING EXCITED!
|
Wednesday |
Although I arrived just in time for Kutless to perform, I was setting up shop as quickly as I could. I missed out on seeing Kutless perform, but I heard them perform through from where I camped out at. I’ve gotten my tent up in about 5 minutes, and inflated my air mattress which I’ve gotten for Christmas in 2002 and never used it. It was a queen-size mattress which fits perfectly inside my tent, and it made for a very comfortable resting spot for the next 4 nights. After all of the setup was finished, I proceeded to the main stage to see...
Paul Baloche
He’s a great worship leader, who is also a songwriter and wrote the traditional worship song, “Open the Eyes of My Heart”. He would also lead Communion on Thursday, and the Candlelighting service on Friday.

Pop sensation, Stacie Orrico performing a great set.
Stacie Orrico
Stacie Orrico is a performer that I’ve been waiting to see for over two years. Her music has strong pop and R&B influences. She brought us an awesome CD called, Genuine. Last year she put out another cool CD which is self-titled and appeals more to the secular crowd.
That night, she performed songs from both albums including favorites such as Don’t Look at Me, Genuine, Stuck and More to Life.
Her concert was one of my most favorite, and she put on a great performance.

Jars of Clay
Jars of Clay
Ever since I’ve seen them perform at a festival, two years ago, I’ve grown to love their folk style of music. Their music is neither too hard nor too soft, yet makes their message very clear. This band has released a new CD this year, Who Are We Instead. I’ve seen them in concert earlier this year in Philadelphia and enjoyed them.
Overall, their performance at Creation was good. They focus mainly on songs from their latest album as well as their The Eleventh Hour CD. A couple of favorites they performed their new album are Amazing Grace and Lonely People.
Fireworks
I couldn’t post any fireworks pictures because my digital camera’s focus is too slow to take those kind of pictures. I found the fireworks show of Wednesday night to be enjoyable, except I think they could play music in the background.
Living Illusions
The Late Night Club for this night is called Living Illusions. It is nothing short of what you would expect from a typical magic show, except they put an fun and entertaining spin to it that would appeal to Christians and non-Christians alike. In the end of the show, they give an encouraging message to get people to come to Christ.

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
