Students will progress
toward achieving the standards and objectives throughout the project.
Teachers and students
will assess the following:
the student’s ability
to work effectively in their group for example their use of class time,
ability to pose solutions to group problems, etc.
the accuracy of and degree
to which the students understand the data collected for the project.
the quality of the data
analysis.
the thoughtfulness of
written journal entries.
the completeness of the
student’s journals.
The teacher will assess
the items listed above by checking student journals, observing the students
as they work, conferencing with the students and administering teacher
created quizzes.
The teacher, in cooperation
with the students will develop a rubric to outline the named expectations
and document the student’s progress toward them. Click
