Hello everyone and welcome to Big Band live.

You have now entered the time of when the big bands ruled the stage. The age when Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, the Dorsey Brothers, Glenn Miller, Cab Calloway, Count Basie, and may others ran the show. With tunes like "A- Train", Sing Sing Sing, "Jumpin' to the Woodside, "Shout and Feel it", and many other great hits . Those were the days. Well after a long time with out the sweet big band and swing music, it has returned and is now favorites to many like before. So shine up your wingtips, grab that suit from your closet, and get ready to jump on the dance floor.

A little about our site. Big Band Live is here for your enjoyment and shopping needs. We are a great place to order the big band and swing CDs. Plus you can sample some of them before you order them so you can get into the jive even before its in your music system at home. 

We also are putting up a radio show of the music  of the big bands of the past and present. As the days continue we will have more shows in the same line as big band and swing.

The chat will in due time be the place to be to chat with fellow big band and swing lovers. It will be open twenty four hours a day so when ever you're in the mood to chat you can come right on it.

In the link page you will fine some of the finest big band and swing sites on the web. From bands to fashion from the 40's and 50's. Whatever you're in the mood to find will be here if not it will soon be there.

The scrapbook is a swell place to go and check out some great pictures of the scene. If you have some pictures that you would want to put up in the scrapbook send them our way and they will be added.
