The NY Mets held their fifth Polish-American night on August 18, 2009. The Ablemen performed for pre-game ceremonies prior to the game. The event took place in the Mets’ new ballpark, Citi Field. As part of the performance, the band supplied the music for the Polonaise Folk Dancers. Performers were not permitted on the field. The Ablemen entertained from the TV tower in centerfield and the dancers performed on a concourse beyond the centerfield seats. The performance was broadcast on the outfield video screens and all the TV’s around the stadium concourses and concession stands. Click on the link below to view pictures from the evening.
