Answer: Deephome is a text adventure in the tradition of Zork and...uh, all those other text adventure games. You are given the description of a room and a list of items and you type in your instructions. It goes a little like this:
You are in a vast chamber, there are etchings on the walls, and an ornate mamouth sarcophogas in the middle of the room. A large doorway is to the south.
You look at the etchings, they are faded and dust filled, and despite all of that you don't understand their language.
You push open the giant lid with all of your might, managing to creat about a three inch opeing. Inside you see a very well preserved mummy. Your arms tire quickly however, and the lid slams shut.
AND SO ON...
You try to solve puzzles, discover new locations, and so on, so that you can further the plot line of the story.
Deephome is an adventure in the tradition of J.R.R. Tolkien and Celtic/Germanic myth. You are a Dwarven Reclaimer, sent to scout out the ancient city of Deephome to see if it is safe for your people to return to. Along the way you must repair what is broken in the city, and free it from the evil spirits that have infested it.
