Our Troop

Meetings are held weekly throughout the year, on Thursday evenings from 7:15 PM until 8:45 PM. Committee and patrol leader meetings are held on a monthly basis. Additionally, we hold semiannual Courts of Honor.

Our Philosophy

Scouting is an educational program that builds character, trains in the responsibilities of citizenship, honesty and helps to develop personal fitness. Scouting also develops young men in the area of leadership, organization, and the ability to interact and care for others. We believe that scouting should be a fun and learning experience. Our troop aggresivly follows this concept so that the scouts continue to grow in an environment of fun and learning.

If you are a boy eleven to seventeen years old and live in the Cherry Hill, NJ Area, we invite you to join Troop 70. If you are a Webelos Scout, we invite you to visit our troop and consider joining us when you crossover. Just …
