They pay the cannon travel guy the money and hop in the cannon.

The cannon fires and they're off whirling through the air. However he did say they were having technical difficulty. In stead of landing in the village of Todo they come crashing down into Santa's house.
"Oh no look what happened!"
"Thats why I stick with reindeer."
