played in Drum Corps from 1983-1987
began teaching drum lines in 1988 and taught off and on until 1991
took piano lessons, but his best musical training came from live situations like jam sessions or playing in an ensemble (another way to learn is by watching ans listening to pther musicians)
Hobbies: bike riding, cooking, movies, writing and listening to music, collecting rare snare heads (really thick/thin ones), also has a 1978 Ibanez doubleneck guitar (discontinued)
Health: takes vitamins and herbs everyday, has acupuncture treatments every 2 months, enjoys a good massage
