Keystone Kops

This was a family dark ride with clown-like figures all throughout the ride.

Hunt's enclosed what started out as an open air antique car ride was turned into Keystone Kops. The original Keystone Kops was built in the back north-east corner of the pier and had to be moved to the front south-west side of the pier in 1969 to make room for the Log Flume. Photo “left” August 1967 and photo “right” inside the in the original location.

The sign reads.. "Down younder road, There's a happy Suprise!"

Golfing Kop - This is the same kop on display at the Boyer museum donated By Ralph Grassi.

The building is being worked on during January 1970 . The pier is open in this photo from April 1970 and people are trying to get a sneak peak of the new Keystone Kops.

A plain looking facade during the 1970 season.

However the spring of 1971 the ride would get painted with wild flowers.

Sometime in the 70s the ride recieved a brick facade. Photo "right" September 1978 and Photo "left" September 1984

The façade of this ride has changed about four or five times in its new location at the front of the pier.

Photo of the ride during the 80's
