Be part of the team to rescue a group of scientists who were ambushed by dinosaurs. Tha famous "old" mine is full of new surprises for adventure thrillseekers only. This ride was built on Hunt’s Pier in 1960. Dinosaur Beach added dinosaurs, a volcano and fossils to the already existing Golden Nugget Mine props. Many Golden Nugget fans object to the dinosaur props added to the ride. I was glad to see the ride running again. |

Get ready, get set...and maybe a little wet. Just before the giant 40' drop, rides will experience the shock of their lives! Splashdown to Family Fun. The Log Flume was built on Hunt’s Pier during the winter of 1969 and opened the spring of 1970. Dinosaur Beach added rock formations around the ride and a fossil dig under the drop in the ride. |

Ride a "safari" jeep through a lifelike Dinosaur Holding Compound with life-size animated dinosaurs. You will survive the ride but you'll never escape the memory of this journey through the past.
Escape from Dinosaur Beach was the star attraction of the pier and, in my opinion, was not poor for a newer dark ride. The scary factor, of course, was toned down for children and the ride wasn’t very dark but when all the tricks were working it was passable. |

If all you want to do is have fun - it' the hottest ride with the coolest tunes. A concert sound system spins and dips you through the latest CD's. This This is a typical rocking cars spin ride just like the Rock & Roll or the old Shillitten Fhart. |

This mouse could avoid any trap as it spins, twists, dips and dives over four hairpin curves and hair-raising freefalls. The crazy part is the car you are riding in actually spins 360* - completely around! A spinning coaster, what a unique idea. |
|
It's the wildest new ride in all of Wildwood! You can experience what it's actually like to hitch hike a ride on a speeding comet. Blast off into outer space on a ride you'll never forget! Remember - in space, no one can hear your screams... This spinning thrill ride was added to the pier in 1997. |

For those who dare challenge a raging river. Riders on this storm will wind and whip through waterfalls, cascading white water and prehistoric sites ruled by raptors. Rampaging Rapids, now Raptor Rapids, was the last big ride Hunt’s built. It was constructed in 1985. |
|
Experience the excitement and thrills of the area's first and only "water roller coaster." Get blasted by a jet stream of water over rolling hills and through valleys under waterfalls. The pier opened with this ride in 1996. |

Before The Rocket, traveling 0-60MPH in only TWO SECONDS had been limited to only a select few space shuttle astronauts. But remember Newton's Law - whatever goes up, must come down...and The Rocket's 18 story re-entry is a flying free-fall of fun that will leave you absolutely weightless - and breathless! This ride was considered an attraction so there was a fee of approximately $15 but it was worth every cent. This ride, however, was closed and removed after one of the towers snapped on a similar ride in Atlantic City. Now Adventure Pier has a new version of the Rocket that everyone should try! |
