Most Importantly. Treat others as you wish to be treated. In so doing the chances of hurting another are greatly limited and the goal of the rooms to be safe places for all will be met.

Commen Sense and commen decency should dictate to us behavior that is acceptable and unacceptable. If you wouldnt do or say it around your loved ones (children) than it shouldnt be done or said in room.

Spoiling: While we appreciate that certain words may trigger thoughts or memories, we also recognize that in the proper text they are acceptable and we limit the requirement of spoiling to only the most offensive language which in reality should not be used in the channel to begin with.

Hard Talk: Our rooms are meant to be a gathering place where conversations can be handled by all visitors. We understand the need at times to talk about memories, anger and other subjects which may be difficult for all to handle. In these cases, we have ownership of a room called #HT_WeRMany for the purpose of allowing 2 or more people to have a more private place to support each other.

Therapy: Our rooms ARE NOT therapy rooms. Our Members ARE NOT therapists. We are here to support each other but, in the event that you are unsafe we will reccommend that you seek professional help. It is unfair to put the burden of your safety on the other people with struggles of their own.

Confidentiality: We discourage logging accept in the case of someone who is abusive or outsiders causing problems who need to be banned from the channel. Confidentiality is an important issue for MP's and should be observed as you would wish yours observed.

OP's: Opping in Our rooms is not about power, it is about leadership, safety, and protection. We encourage all people interested in opping to request that status to capetal@water.waterw.com Our belief is the more the merrier, it will allow for the likelihood of ops in the rooms during as much time as possible, it will give people the chance to feel empowered and it will help to eliminate the feeling of exclusivity. Ops are requested to deop temporarily anytime they are in the channel and not in a good personal space. Ops are also requested to deop other ops who are not in a safe place and may not recognize it. Ops should always remember this is their place to be supported as well and it is not necessary that they always be the helpers but allow themselves to be the helped.

Visitors in #WeRmany or any of the affiliated rooms my not be in any sex or abuse channels.

These channels are for the purposes of supporting persons living with mpd/did and their supporters. We choose to limit the rules to as few as possible and recognize the challanges involved with the disorder. Our challenge is to be supportive and nonjudgemental to the degree that is possible but reserve the right on a situation by situation basis to take actions that are necessary to protect the safety of the rooms and their visitors. The challange of all of us will be to remember to recognize that we are all in different healing stages and respect where we each are in the process.

These rooms are registered to BJ`, a MP who has been involved in the healing process for 3 years, who has been involved in several online support groups and who has faith in the outcome of support and companionsip of people who have been there.
