I found love whilst on an old, dirt rocky
path
Yet I nearly missed his sweet call
Somehow in the deep winter of my waning youth
In a world of snow and ice
I discovered Paradise
Sometimes love is so unpredictable
And we often miss his knock
And often times we hunt for love
Unsuccessful in our quest
So many times I've sought for love
In many diverse places
I've searched for love
Only to be sadly mistaken
Yet love found me
In a most peculiar way
As I traveled down a lonely roadway
In the winter of my discontent
When the earth wore a coat of deep ermine
In a world of snow and ice
I have found my Valentine
Sometimes in life's busy thoroughfare
People are too busy running here and there
That they fail to notice
Life's most essential basic need
Is just around the corner
So when love suddenly cross their path
They simply ignore the sign
Sometimes love is found
In the very road not taken
