Turkish 3.League - Week 21 Review
1There were no game in this group this week. The games were scheduled originally. There were no info about this group in the media. If we think of some media forgetting to report on the 1.League game Gaziantep-Gençlerbirliği, just before the Fenerbahçe-Beşiktaş derby game, it would be too much to expect. What a pity.
2Erzincan kept the top spot with a win over Ünye. Bayburt won one of their most important game against Trabzon Telekom. They are now at even points and the goal difference decides the last promotion spot. Iğdır's away win in Ordu put them to the second place, while pushing Orduspor to the bottom part of the order. They will have a tougher time, now. Çarşamba beat the Rize Çayspor who were on top shape in recent weeks and got out of the relegation zone. Pazarspor is continuing rising in the standings after beating Termespor with difficulty. Arsinspor couldn't score against one of the best defense in the group and Giresun got away with an away point, even though that point was not enough to keep them away from danger zone. Karabulak Gençlik, the league's one of the youngest team must be feeling comfortable this week beating Divriği. And in the last game of the week, Bulancak couldn't win again at home. They do not look as good as they were last year. 3The leaders Adana Demir got a clear win over İskenderun. Tarsus İdman Yurdu beat Kahramanmaraş in the game of the week. Two teams from Çukurova are enjoying a successful second half so far. Ceyhan beat Nevşehir scoring four and Osmaniye beat Niğde scoring 6. Mezitli lost to last place İskenderun DÇGM, but was lucky that nobody passed them so far. However, they do not look as good as they were in the first half of the season. For DÇGM, ıt was a farewell to the last place. Adıyaman couldn't beat GASKİ. They do not perform well consistently and these lost points at home may be costly. On the last game of this group two Municipality teams tied each other im Malatya. 4In a week only one home team Saran Keskinspor won at home, Zonguldak's win in Çankırı and Karadeniz Ereğli's win in Kilimli were more impressive. Çorum was the other away winner. The leader Ankara Demir could only get a tie at second last Turhal's. Kastamonu and Kırşehir crowd didn't see any goals and EGO tied Merzifon at home. 5Kütahya took over Uşak with a win at ASAŞ, when Uşak choked versus Karaman at home. Kepez Belediye scored 6 against Konya Kartalı and made the first three now. That game combined with Aksaray's one away point in Side put the Eagles into the relegation zone. All three Ankara teams were at home. Petrolofisi beat ESKİ, Keçiörengücü tied Afyon and ASKİ lost to Kütahya. Seydişehir beat Alanya and is out of the R zone. İn the last game, Eskişehir Şeker beat Çubuk. 6No thriller in this group this week. Muğla and Marmaris got away ties and the third of the 3M's Mustafakemalpaşa won in relegation candidate Milas. Balıkesir - PETKİM, Aliağa - Ayvalık games were goalless ties. Torbalı managed to beat Akhisar, while Soma was doing the same to Bergama. Manisa's win in Kuşadası may be the most noteworthiest of all. 7What can you tell about Bilecik? Just after beating Beykoz on their way to the promotion they lost to Nişantaşı 4-1 in İstanbul and now at fifth spot. It was Niçantası's second win of the season after the Week 1. It took 20 weeks to win again. Hope they won't wait that long again, since there is only thirteen weeks to go. They are still 9 points behind the team above them. Beykoz won the game of the week, beating the leader Sapanca 4-2, but still sitting at fourth. Maltepe used the Bilecik accident and is now third after beating a good team Ayazağa. Two bay teams Kürfez Belediye and Bekirpaşa won this week. Bekirpaşa's away win at Mudurnu was really valuable for them, since it took them out of the relegation zone. Same thing was not true for Gebze. They also won an away game in İnegöl, but are still in the R zone. Eyüp got closer to Sapanca win an impressive win over Üsküdar Anadolu. Yalova and Pendik tied goalless, when Yalova was just getting used to play at home. 8It was all home wins, but one. Küçükköy won in Gelibolu. The group's untouchable leader got a difficult home win beating Edirne 2-1. Beşyüzevler on the other hand caught up with Beylerbeyi, but the teams above are also running away. Catch them if you can, otherwise amateur leagues may be the next stop. Alibeyköy's win over Kasımpaşa was very valuable to them. Bandırma win over Beylerbeyi, Zeytinburnu over Gönen were expected results. Lüleburgaz - Karagümrük and Bayrampaşa - Tekirdağ games could go either way. This time the home teams were lucky.
