The dogs in our breeding program are our pets and live with us in our home. They are only weekend show dogs. They are housebroken, socialized and are as comfortable at a dog show with 1200 other dogs as they are sitting on the shore watching us crab and fish or just hanging out watching TV. Our puppies are generally available at 8-10 weeks of age and are litter trained, partially housebroken (depending on the time of year and weather), table trained, leash trained and trained to come when called. We just do not throw our puppies in a pen and leave them there until someone comes along to buy them! Believe me, I have bought dogs raised like that - they are extremely difficult to train and live with.
Mickey/Abba Puppies
Due Mid-June is our very first litter sired by our gorgeous young Grand Champion, Mickey. For his first breeding, we have selected Abba. We expect small size, heavy coats and beautiful faces. In addition, this will be Abba's last litter with us. After this litter, she will be retired and offered to a forever home. Future Breeding Plans
We are honored with all the inquiries we receive for puppies. Many people have come back to us for their second, and THIRD puppy and we are delighted to be able to offer them the top quality puppy that they want.
Some of our future spring/summer breeding plans will be the repeat breeding of Gr. Champion Mickey's mother (Candy) to Ch. Starsign's Ditto Dancer. This will be a repeat breeding of our Emily that so many people have asked to purchase. Sorry, the answer is still the same...Emily is staying with me! But thank you for the compliment.
Also, we will be breeding Ivy, but are as of yet undecided as to whom she will be bred to. And we are contemplating breeding Mickey's sister, Cindy. Cindy will probably be bred to our upcoming scene stealer, Sherjak's Up The Ante (Miles).
We have had several inquiries for puppies lately, and while I know a few people are anxiously awaiting puppies from us, please remember that we will not take a deposit until we have something specific to offer you. It makes no sense (to us at least) to accept a deposit on something we do not actually HAVE. We will announce here as soon as the puppies are born and at that time we will accept deposits. If you are interested in one of our puppies, the first step is to call us for an interview. We do not interview over the internet, so a quick e-mail asking us how much our puppies are does not get you on our waiting list. To get that out of the way, companion quality puppies are in the $1500 to $1800 price range. Show/breeding puppies are considerably higher.
