These Drums were yellowed from almost 60 years of exposure to dirt,nicotene, and a variety of other factors.

BEFORE & AFTER : 1965 factory matched 12/16/20 fully restored and recovered in White Marine Pearl

I removed the '70's era Ludwig double tom mount from the bass drum and pluged the hole. Someone had also used a Rogers swivomatic mount which was already removed. The holes from that part were also plugged up. An appropriate era rail consolette was found and mounted on the bass drum. The 12" tom also had to have the holes plugged from the 70's era Ludwig tom bracket, as well as the Rogers swivomatic plate. The appropriate era diamond shaped W&A plate was installed. The original black wrap was removed, the shells were sanded, primed, and the entire kit was re-wrapped in white marine pearl (WMP). Finally, the appropriate era Slingerland logo was applied to the front bass head, and the vintage style sheild was personally customized.
