Anything that can describe
the feeling in my soul
when I think of you.
I could write you a verse
or sing you a praise.
It would not be enough.
How can I explain
the way my heart swells
when I think of you?
The tears that sting my eyes
for you are not here with me now.
How I would die for you,
if that is what you wished.
Some may say
that it is impossible
to build something so large and true
in a span so short and brief.
But they have not seen
the love I have felt
in you.
Maybe this will help you see,
of the distance
I am willing to run.
Of the trials I would endure,
just to be with you.
Come demons from hell,
or Gods from heaven,
none of them
will keep me
from your love.
I just pray it is true.
