"Novia" is the vernacular word for "girlfriend" which connotes "friendship", something they all profess
to have in common.
This female quartet took audiences and dance music buffs with their hit song
"DAHAN DAHAN LANG", which topped the charts of DWTM(89.9), DWLS(97.1), and DWRT(99.5). Their music video for "DAHAN DAHAN LANG" can be seen on MTV Asia, usually during FLIPSIDE.
Their new single, "MGA BABAE", is currently enjoying airplay on most FM stations, and is #2 on DWLS's Top 20 Countdown. "MGA BABAE" is also the theme song of the upcoming movie, "APRIL, MAY, JUNE,(MGA BABAE)", under Star Cinema.
They have also shared the stage with some of the country's biggest artists such as Afterimage,
Eraserheads, Rivermaya, Francism, Moo and Ariel Rivera, to name a few. They have also opened for foreign
acts like Los del Rio(of "Macarena" fame), Past to Present, Color Me Badd, and the Funky Diamonds.
The debut album, simply entitled "NOVIA", is available on cassete and cd, under BMG Records.
