Roxanne is approaching 6 years old here..Diabetes set in not much later..She bravely endured 2 shots a day until I lost her.....
Bruce
and Roxy..She shows weight gain without a change in diet or exercise..It was pancreatic failure..
Bruce Trovato,,my wonderful pal,,passed on Dec.1st 2013..He put up a good fight and is now safe and gathering up our animal friends there..

TUESDAY 2-4-14....My lil girl Border Collie/Chow,,CHECKERS,,left this Earth today at 1030am,,peacefully ,, in my arms and hearing my
voice telling her I love her and that she was a good gurl!!!...She was with me only 5 short years,,but she loved me and was extremely loyal,,as *pound* pets are....She was at the end if her *time there at the shelter,,having thwarted being adopted for 2 and a half years and had been given *likely unadoptable* label,,to be destroyed at the next *roundup*...As most of you know,,she ended up being wonderful from the start...All of you know the loss I am feeling,,having gone thru this yourselves...I will now need to heed my own advice to many others,,,to bask in the good memories,,such as zany running around the yard in circles,,,the quiet times with her tucked in the crook of my leg,,her chin resting on my thigh...The only problem is missing her now every second in this lonely house...No more pets...Cant do this anymore...I LOVE YOU CHECKERS..If there is HEREAFTER,,,I will find you ,,with the others...*Daddy*
