• Web, E-commerce & Enterprise Application Development - I have over 3 years of direct experience developing enterprise, and web/e-commerce applications; both 2-tiered (using ASP and Coldfusion) and n-tiered (with J2EE technologies - JSPs,Servlets EJBs, taglibs, XML, Weblogic 4.51 & 5.1), and open source tools Apache TomCat, Apache Struts);
• Project Lead/Application Development - In my present role as Senior Consultant with Blue Martini Software I have successfully led to completion several e-commerce applications for clients using the BMS B2C and B2B packaged software one of which was a portal e-site for Stanford University. At BestWits in Brazil, I oversaw development and deployment of web/intranet-based systems for the company and led to completion a number of systems. In my career position as a visiting Professor in Brazil, I served the additional role of labs. System manager for two years;
• Problem-Solving & Systems Engineering methodologies - I have over 11 years of experience in hard/soft systems conception, modeling and implementation methodologies and techniques including: system thinking methodologies and computer simulation adequate for analyzing complex socio-technical problems, Management Information Systems design, relational, semantic and object-oriented modeling (OO analysis and OO Design) of databases, modelling enterprise solutions with UML and design patterns, web-application development/content management and personalization techniques using Blue Martini Software and a good command of innovative artificial intelligence techniques such as knowledge engineering, logic programming, data mining, expert systems, fuzzy logic and neural networks;
