The Raping of Zamora's Mind tells the story of Zamora, a young teen who narrates the lives of eleven Latino teens of different backgrounds living in an urban town in New Jersey. Here we learn of their problems. From love and happiness, to drugs and suicide, AIDS which is a silent killer rampant in their community, triumph and success, teenage pregnancy, rape and eventually death. Some stories such as Diana Montoya are heart-wrenching accounts of a woman raped. Other like the story of a young married couple struggling to survive is universal. All seen through Zamora's eyes, his story and the experiences he encounters as his friends and enemies are entangled in a web of love, lust, sex & greed.
