Programs     Our programs are divided into two categories:  Community Service and Member Programs.  Our member programs are for the benefit of Sorority members and auxiliary members alike. Community Services Programs:    Summer Read-a-Thon This activity is sponsored by Kappa Phi Iota and held at local libraries to encourage young people to read.    Mentoring Program Members of Kappa Phi Iota mentor young girls and encourage them to read, write and participate in community service projects.    Universal Sisterhood Program Kappa Phi Iota encourages the efforts of other Greek and community service organizations by participating in and supporting social and community service events that are sponsored by these organizations.   Scholarship Program Every year, Kappa Phi Iota grants scholarships to young ladies who exhibit excellence and potential in writing. Member Programs:    Continuing Education Program Kappa Phi Iota provides information about new educational programs to members who want to continue their education in various fields.  We also provide grant and scholarship information.    Employment Assistance Program Kappa Phi Iota believes that sisterhood is forever.  In keeping with this belief, we help our members in their search for employment.  We assist with resume writing and send member resumes to companies all over the country.
